If it was implemented in March, why did the leaders let me cast lots against Areya for Scout's Socks? After all, I switched from THF to RNG tier and they did not hold that rule above my head when I had more points than her.

It was an oversight, plain and simple.

Hellstorm thoroughly read the rules, brought it to my attention, I checked into it and brought it to the attention of Galiant and Jescer. Discussion occured then said rule was enforced.

Yes. You're right. From a purely technical point of view, he earned his gear by the rules of loldynamis. I never said he didn't earn it. I said he didn't deserve it. Here in the real world, lots of undeserving people earn a lot of things.

...hell, a lot of undeserving people obtain a lot of things without properly earning them, but that's neither here nor there.

And one other thing I'd like to clarify in advance: I don't condone what happened. I just find it hard to feel sympathy in this case. In the end, it just winds up being a mildly humorous incident with trash on both sides, for their own various reasons.

I would like to see your definition of deserving. I have been in a dynamis since before there was a forum section here in qcdn. I have been in Dynamis since before the frist ever killing of Dynamis lord. I don't think there is one shell still around today that was around when I started dynamis. Started dynamis at 65 in DynamisAteam stay with them till they broke. Then went to invictus in my time in invictus in that time a whooping 3 hats have dropped.(over a year) 1 went to smg 9/27/2006 (rolled a 22), went to nekoi 10/14/2006 (cherron rolled a 3), 1 went to kenyan 8/19/2006. (also got 5/5 war af2) I left invictus about 6 months ago due to conflicts in times. Invictus is still a great shell. Joining LOLd I have been with them ~6 months seen 2 hats drop, not including the one that was ninjaed. Was up on top of tier when this happen. That is just my dynamis career. That hat has been my unicorn for quite some time it is the #1 item I want in this game right now.

As much as I hate Hellstorm(I mean I REALLY hate the guy) I have to say what happened is pretty shitty. No matter how bad a person is no one deserves to be Nin lotted out of super special awesome gear. Common drop/rare drop/once in a blue moon drop, doesn't change the fact that Nin lotting isn't right.

As many people once said. No matter how bad a person, no one deserves to be Nin lotted.

This is an opportunity that shouldn't honestly exist though, especially considering the fact that he still doesn't get that what happened was very wrong, as he's posted in this very thread.

Because galiant didn't know about the rule. How many people normally change tiers and end on top of another. Rule was implemented back when Eormanric was in the shell, it called the The Eormanric Memorial Rule. so it more then a couple months ago. Look under "LOLd rule discussion" the rule was in place on dec 23, 2006 that just under a year ago.

It is a Dynamis LS leader's worst nightmare to have a loyal member be robbed of something they gave their time, effort and loyalty to finally obtain.

I have over double your attendance, triple if you take into consideration I changed tiers twice (-50% each time). However, with LolD's rules, you're allowed to have it.

However saying your better then someone who has been playing the job for over 3 year is far fetched. As for the rules you made that choice when you decided to jump from 1 tier to another. It is lamentable that other people have to wait even longer now because this happened. That is actually the worst part of all this. But you didn't get screwed over any worse than anyone else in line for the drop, yet those people are barely mentioned here.

It does suck that this happened to anyone, even you, but at the same time, we all get what is coming to us.
