Groovy new drug

Then you either took the wrong stuff or went to sleep before it kicked in.

Honestly though, I have a in depth and lengthy tale about the drug in question.

When I was 17 years old, I smoked pot for the first time ever. Up to that point I had been drunk 1 time (didn't care for it, still don't) and I had never smoked a cigarette. But I sure did like the buzz I got from smokin weed. It was mellow, it was relaxed, I seemed to think about things in a different way, and I realized all those horror stories I had heard about drugs weren't true. Matter of fact, if I had been told the truth about drugs, I might have stayed away from them.

Anyway. So about 3 months after I started smoking pot, I started making friends with the loser potheads at school, most which are no proffesionals with 4-6 year degrees making 2x as much money as the people who told us we were losers for smoking pot. Well, those guys, (Scott and Tommy) got me to try DXM. Tommys prefered method was Max Strength robo. Scott couldn't take it so he always ate corriceden. 8 Ounces of robo or 16 Cinimony sweet corriceden. Hell, I did both, I've chased the pills with the syrup before. I was ready to experiment and learn the truth about drugs.

The more you take, the stranger it feels. It's almost like watching yourself lag through besieged. You see something then totally ignore the world around you untill you process every detail of the "picture" you just saw. Eventually, if you take enough, things will start to look unreal, almost cartoon like. Every breath you take will feel like it is the cleanest are ever to reach your lungs. Every person you encounter will be the most interesting creature you ever saw. You may not understand it what you are seeing, but it will be amazing.

Eventually, it will turn into straight up hallucinations. You may think you are swiming across a field, the birds may turn into fish, the grass will move like sea weed. You will lose all moter functions. Every part of your body will respond to touch as though it were the tip of your penis, not entirely unlike ecstacy. You will forget not only who you are, but what you are and sit there drooling on yourself untill you go to sleep.

That was the experience I had when I took 56 corriceden (840mg of DXM) it's roughly the equivlant of 9 4oz bottles of Robotussin. I'm not lying in any way. RoM and Zeromous can both back my up on the quantity.

It was fucking scary. I woke up the next day and everything on my body was swollen, I could hardly open my eyes. All I wanted to do was drink gallons upon gallons of water. I never ingested DXM again except for medicinal use.

You may wonder why this is a legal OTC medication. I know I did. I related the whole experience to my doctor. I then asked him why it was legal and if it could cause any problems. He said "Because it works." then proceeded to eplain in semi technical terms why it was bad for me. Corriceden HBP... HBP stand for high blood pressure, and in when used as directed, it is an acceptable for people that take medicine for High bloodpressure to use this for cold/cough relief blah blah blah (Idon't have high blood pressure and was never gonna take it again so I stopped listening).

Reguardless.

This drug is not Hippy approved.

You sir, are a pro.

Although its not Hippy approved, hows about the 16 pills "reccomended"(lol) dose for periodical use? Say once every few months or so?

Be aware that this belongs to a family of drugs known to cause brain damage at high dosage levels.

When you get right down to it, as a general rule, anything that significantly alters your state of consciousness is almost undoubtedly bad for you on some level. Low levels of use can have negligible or even beneficial effects (though the same effects can be obtained other ways, without the associated risks), but higher levels are pretty much universally bad.

And to contrast Hippy, pretty much all the potheads I remember that I've seen since the old days wound up pretty much were I expected: Clean, and successful; Using, and not too good; Escalated, and in prison.

Thats pretty much how its supposed to end up. Those who clean up, do well. But if you cant use that willpower to quit then you screw up.

I never could understand why people wanted to do drugs. I grew up with parents who smoked weed more then most ppl smoke cigs. I know a few ppl who say they just need to get away and the drugs help so they think. I'll never get it seriously where do you go? The world is still there once your trip is over. In the end its just another problem you make for yourself. I looked up some stuff dont know if it will help any. http://www.coricidinhbp.com/content/info/abuse/cor_abuse_info.htm

I have no issues with recreational drug usage in adults that recognize what they're putting into their bodies. About 4 years ago I did the 8-hit version of Coriciden. It's now an 'Ask your Pharmacist' cold-medicine at any drug store around here due to escalated theft of said medicine.

It made me feel really weird, and anytime I walked (or attempted to) it felt as if I was in some kind of exaggerated cowboy swagger with my legs bowed out really far and lifting my knees to about chet-height, though I was walking normally. (think Lamia Idolator)

The come-down was really weird; akin to that of a hard E come-down. Shakes and nausea. The entire night, watching the movie Wizards at slow motion and really old Dragon Ball Z cartoons, it felt as if I were watching the systemic murder and disembodiment of chipmunks and small children. Everything was hilarious but frighteningly slow-motion. Heart palpatations followed the morning after and its really not something I would suggest. Abuse of perscription drugs is extremely dangerous. The harder it is, the less I hang. I was once a pot and E woman myself, but have since downgraded considerably to an occasional hit of the bong only in a social setting.

Drugs are bad m'kay? But honestly? Do what the fuck you want if you research it, are with responsible people and are in a comfortable setting.

Good luck and for fuck's sake, be careful.

It's retards like these that are driving up the cost of healthcare.

among the high percentage of lawsuits and chainsmokers... but yes I agree

Which is why you legalize drugs, but with the stipulation that companies are fully allowed to discriminate based on drug usage and no government funded healthcare is to be provided to those suffering the consequences of using.

So, either you find a job willing to pay a drug user and pay for the damage you do to yourself, you don't use drugs, or you kill yourself with drugs.

Beautifuly simple and efficient - fewer people soaking up government money in prison and/or from public healthcare.

Aye, that's been on the List of Ways Raes Would Improve the World for some time now. Along with mandatory birth control for welfare recipients, death sentences streamlined and expanded, identical punishments for attempted crimes as successful ones, and so on.

I suppose I feel the need to explain my reasonings for wanting to try drugs since you don't understand.

I wanted to try drugs because I knew what I was tought in school was a lie. I wanted to know the truth. I wanted to find out for myself. I have tried a lot of drugs, but some I stay away from. I observe first, try later. If I don't like the way people behave on said drug, I don't try it. I've never done coke, crack, meth, Heroin, never huffed or snorted anything and I don't take pills of any kind for recreational use. I see the way people behave when they are under the influence and addicted and that is reason enough for me.

The drugs I like are shrooms, acid, and pot. I've been known to smoke opium from time to time, but it's hard to find and expensive so i don't make a habit of it. I have seen people do these drugs and still be normal productive members of society. I have done these drugs and I remain a somewhat normal and productive member of society. I do it for the same reason people play video games, it's fun. Some people don't think it's fun, so those people shouldn't do it, very much like any recreational activity.

People use recreational activites to "get away" quite often. Mushrooms, LSD, and THC are not chemically addictive. Like any recreational activity though, all 3 are best in moderation. When you use drugs just to ignore your problems is when drugs become an escape, and not recreation. In the end your problems are still there. But that's life.

This shit probably wasn't even new when burnouts gave themselves the nickname "Robo" 18 years ago.

Recreational drugs and Wal-Mart, Walgreens, etc. don't belong in the same sentence.

My advice, scale back to just the pot, and eliminate the hallucinogenics from your 'arsenal'. You don't wanna wind up on Klonopin because you can't stop seeing shit, lol. Keep your smoking in moderation as well, marijuana is extremely bad for your lungs.

It's a nice idea, but giving companies the right to discriminate based on it is similar to giving them the right to refuse those based on sexual orientation. Companies can by all means fire someone for showing up drunk to work, but can't fire you for drinking after work on your own time. Refusing health care for those that have used is similar to refusing those who smoked, or have a poor diet, or did something else that is legal but not healthy. I'm all for legalization of drugs (no I don't use any of them, and wouldn't if they were legal) but you can't have it both ways and turn all users into pariahs.

Actually, you can have it both ways, because that's basically how we handle controlled substances. If it's been prescribed to you by a doctor, then it's okay; if you bought it for yourself from some guy on the corner, you're an illegal drug user.

We're not talking about refusing health care for people who drink/smoke/etc, we're talking about refusing what is effectively health insurance, which is somewhat different. If you smoke, there are companies that won't insure you, and of the majority that do, they will most certainly charge you more for the act.

Think of it as a matter of the carrot and the stick, with both roles fulfilled by the single entity of state health insurance. I can envision a broad variety of ways in which such a thing could be used to encourage people to improve their health.

That's the point.

After studying laws concerning HR as part of my degree, I can say that it is perfectly legal today to discriminate on criteria that affect job performance. Provided a company lists certain physical requirements in a job description, they could legally refuse hiring obese individuals because they are "not of necessary physical health." My idea is nothing new - employers are already allowed to screen for illegal substances and terminate employment based on what they find.

The crux of my idea is that you discourage drugs through means other than throwing users in jail and attempting (poorly) to stem the tide of drugs into the country. Instead, you put full accountability on the user. You give him or her the free choice to use, you just make one choice incredibly painful.

Basically, if you choose to use, you have to find an employer who will tolerate your drug use (which pretty much guarantees a low-paying job), and at the same time, you must cover the cost of any medical problems you develop due to your use. This would include emergency services. The *point* is to not save users from themselves and allow them to die if the cause is their own drug use. Darwin in action.

Fixed :P

In most places one can live, at least in this country, breathing is remarkably bad for your lungs but you don't see people recommending you limit how often you do that. There's corporate interest at stake. It's still a shyte site better than tearing up everything from your gut up on cough syrup. Naturally you'd want to moderate smoking i'm not advocating 24/7 bonghits, but you'd figure that'd kinda relegation would happen on it's own if your aim is to keep a job, pay bills, have some kind of social life, etc.

And really if that's not your aim in life or your pattern for living graduate on to heroin, E, or cocaine and give the rest of us a little more elbow room.

I'm more of a drinker then a drug user myself, some of my friends and family smoke a bit of pot from time to time and thats all well and cool, but when your taking fucking cough syrup and shit to get high I gotta ask what the fucks wrong with you? Why don't you just go and sniff some fucking glue you retards.

No, they've done studies. Smoking pot is about 4-6x as bad as smoking cigarettes on a per-dose basis. Obviously, that means that you're not gonna get as much chance on the whole, since few people light up on an hourly basis, but if you find yourself smoking more than 3 times a day, you should consider scaling back.

Cite one please. If you can find anything that isn't from an agency, or connected to an agency, whose job it is to arrest drug users, I'll just shut the fuck up.
