BTW all the nins that think they cant take hits, HQ arhats head & body, earth staff, and jelly rings are our friends. Use them.

not true, I've had better exp in ule with 3 WAR/NIN BRD RDM WHM :P more things to kill so chains lasted longer :3
 
There's absolutely nothing wrong with PLD.

Here's the thing: If you want maximum xp/hr in a cannon @ 75, you do not want a paladin in your party.

If you're willing to give up 1k xp/hr or so: A paladin with capped great sword is a good filler if he has the proper gear to support it.

Paladins honestly can DD fine on weapons in cannon parties, you just need to throw the sword and board away, pay up for a serious great sword and real DD gear, cap it, maybe toss some merits in it, and you're on your way.

Realistically there's just no reason for a paladin to be tanking in merit parties @ 75. Just get some DD gear and smash faces.

Well that's the thing, you don't loose 1k/hr when you invite PLD, you loose more like 5 to 8k/hr compared to a good cannon PT in Ugly Range. Frankly, even getting a NIN instead of a good WAR reduces your exp by about 1-2k/hr... (NIN are way behind WAR in URange because mobs are not low VT like decos in sky for instance).

Advice to PLD that are in a sky LS: gogo Ulli PT !!! It doesn't require "strangers", you can have a nice stone at the end, it's a LS PT which usually means no noobness. You can pull 5-6k/hr doing something constructive too, and considering Ulli is a bitch, you can stay there for a long long time ;)

Well actally first time nin came out people called you a noob lving it past 37 same as war.
If you rember when pld was the only tank after 37 and DRK you could do a /sea all drk invite there where tons Nins use to never tank as no one liked it but most people have not played to long now have they
 
Give PLD auto refresh and then PLD/NIN can DD Tank just as well as most NIN's probably. And with the right gear and merits a PLD/NIN spamming vorpal blade might even out damage most NIN's as well.
