As Im replenishing my oils and powders before heading to the nest, I d/c.

I got into kuftal, I accidenly Bump into Guirve (HNM wvyren lv80~85) and deleveled to 54, Got raise2, got 55 back, Pop up sneak and invis, take a SS of him, but he has true sight, so i try to stand directly in his range.

Then right after I took a Screenshot, I had one of those super fast D/C's. I log back on to see That i'm dead. Then I get raise, and my sneak wears off, try to put it back on, but bam, silly robber crab aggro. But all In all after 3 deaths and 1 D/C I made 11k exp With a very good party. ^_~

I D/C'ed twice last night and I never D/C. One was weird because I was on Choco and when I signed back on I was still on Choco. They were super fast too. I hope this makes sense because I am half asleep right now.

I was in that one place off of Bub, my memory is going about ffxi.. Then it was a great party, good exp, then our WHM needs to go. So I grab my buddy Scizofrenic to come help us. He comes, exp gets good, then I d/c for my first time ever! We have a Japanese Paladin Galka for a tank. He doesn't know what really going on. Then I come back, we fight a Toroma, I d/c yet again! So the Tank leaves and the party just falls apart.

Then on my last day. My good friend Vandala is getting married. Not an offical wedding, we just headed to Secret Beach in the Dunes, and held the ceremony ourselves. So it goes good as we are taking screen shots, and all of that. Then during the ceremony i d/c. Not a big deal. I log back on. I d/c again. This goes on about 5 times. Then the ceremony is over. Now time for speeches. I had my speech set up before, but I lost it in the d/c. So it's my turn. And I did d/c about 10 times during the rest of the speeches. My turn. I manage to type a line before I d/c! It was a good speech might I add, but it just really pissed me off! I mean my last day at Vandy's wedding, i d/ced at least 30times. Grrrr. Then course, I come online to say my last good-byes and everything was fine.

I hate my internet connection....

My cable went down the other night right when a party started. I couldn't get back on. It sucked.

I used to have a problem with frequent DC's but I realized it mainly happeded when there was a weapon skill or spell that had a lot of graphical effects and/or caused my controler to rumble. I dissabled the rumble feature from the FFXI config and haven't had this problem since. I turn it back on for when I fish and the other day before partying I forgot to turn it back off. Sure enough at the first skill chain I DC!

My router also was giving me problems. This wasn't an instant DC, it was a really weird, slow drop of the connection. I stopped using the router and viola!... No more dropped connections.

My router is a beast. Never had any problems with it. We have all the conections used, was have about 4 or 5 comps/laptops.. its the heart of the team.
