Guess the account seller!

Kadin is a whore account? Everyones getting a turn at it. We should start a "Quetzalcotl Donation Service" to buy all accounts sold and delete them. That'll stop the problems before they start.

yeah its gotta be kadin,
Thats not an N at the beginning, you can clearly see the k shape.
the third letter has a curve at the bottom almost o like, which would be a D, i think its safe to say its kadin

That is Kadin. He has Warrior, Thief, and Red Mage all leveled. Not much to say about him, he joined Celestial Knights, and got kicked out for being a nuisanse.

why does that look more like "K**ln?

You gonna put up the thousands of dollars it'd take to do that? :P

Kadin didn't buy the account, he cancelled his original account, made a mule with the same name then got his old account reinstated thus being told to change the name. Was prolly some [...] nobody liked.

Bah, someone beat me to it >.<

And yeah, that's Kadin.

Granted, him selling means someone with little to no game knowledge running amuk in end game LS's or a gilseller gaining another character. But sometimes life throws you a hard ball and if you have the means of gaining a little cash to help you out in your time of need by selling something you put time into, then by all means go for it.

Not that I'm defending him on any other basis then my own personal opinion, hes a whiner. -But- that doesn't change my humble opinion towards what hes doin'. Gotta do what you gotta do! ^^

so, i got bored and wanted to check to see what accounts sell for. WTF? lol they are ridiculous, who would ever spend money on buying accounts? thats so stupid, lol takes away from the game. heres what i found:

Server: Price: $499.99

this is insane. $500 for that POS account? god going by that, my account should be worth like $2000+.

O.O;; dude I thought they'd be like 150 an account or something -.-;; I guess that makes sense though. People who have the money that are that lazy should be sent outside to do jumping jacks. lazy bastards...

me and tittiomonga where talkinf checked are accounts her is $4k and mine is $13.7k thats money they give us and they add like 50% for profit lol

Well whats funny is that account prolly had some really uber gear, however once IGE got there hands on it they sold the uber stuff so they would have gil to sell. It's a shame, but realisticly if they kept the gear then like you said, the account would be worth 1000's and I guess they figure thats a little to much or something.

um how'd you figure that estimate out?

i was just saying over $2k because i had 4 jobs over 75, and that doesnt include the number of subs leveled, sea access, cop/zm finished, hero in all cities, 63 merits, crafts, gear, etc.

They might charge $2000, but the most you'd likely see from selling your account is $100-$200 from the company.

Nah, they'd buy your account for 2-3 grand and then sell it off so that they can distribute the income; as naturally you have to gear your "product" to the demographics of the customer. Demographics being that people who play a lot of games don't have as much money, typically, because they concentrate more on gaming. Simply the way they or most people look at it, not necessarily true. You can't sell a 35,000 car to a person who can afford a 28,000 car. However, you can convert them to lease the vehicle and sell them on the $500/mth payment, as that's where they wanted to be. If you can't sell them on one side of the board, sell them on another. Regardless, there's no excuse to not sell something.

Other way to think of it is a chop shop. Cut up the pieces and make money on those, then sell the remaining shell for "x" amount as well.

Blazn isn't your account worth um...NOTHING since you deleted all your chars and "42" noble's?

At some time someone posted a website where you could "price" your character before selling it to the company, and the maximum amount you could get was about $120. Unless your character comes with a few hundred million gil, there's no way they'd make enough money from your character to spend $1-2,000 on every character that comes their way.
