Guide on How To Turn Off Signatures / New Signatures size rules

If you don't like BIG signetures size, and doesn't like to see a person's signetures you can do this.


Step 1: Click on "User CP"

Step 2: Go to "Edit Options"

Step 3: Scroll Down to "Thread Display Options"

Step 4: Uncheck "Show Signatures"

Step 4a:

Step 4b: You can also Uncheck "Show Avatars" and "Show Images" also, so no annoying 1024x768 picture smacking in your 800x600 screen

Step 5: Click "Save Changes"


And there you have it, No more Annoying "Big Sig" in your screen, isn't that lovely that techology giving you such an option?

This option is given to us so we don't need to hear your whining about sig size and big picture


Oh btw, New Rules From Modertion Team

1: You can only have 1 Image in your Signatures
1a: No larger then 500x200, so if you get 500x201, you gonna get Nerfed!
2: 1-2 Text Sentence onry!
3: Obey those rules above or your signatures will get pwned by Mods

They are starting to hunt down BIG Sigger! so If you have "Big sig" lower it down now before is too late!!

I'd rather just let the mods take care of the ones that are too big instead of turning off signatures all together. Yours didn't bother me, but that's me.

Yeah, no. So we all get punished because you couldn't restrain yourself with adding more and more garbage? Perhaps you should have just followed the rules to begin with.

Whats the difference between multiple images(assuming their combined size[in bytes] isn't too big) and lines of text, than one image, so long as both don't exceed 500x200? My signature is certainly less than both 500 pixels long, and 200 wide.

I know I could just make my signature one image, but whats better? 2 images totalling <20k. Or 1 image pushing 23-24k? Remember, I'd have to fill in that small gap with something, be it my chat box background, or transluscency from a gif.

You got called on it and had moderator action towards you. Actually i do. I read the thread in it's entirety. You failed to comprehend the rules. You were punished. The end.

Once you actually understand what constitutes a flameworthy post as opposed to completely accurate fact get at me. Until then grab a pillow and cry your eyes out.

Your feelings about the facts are entirely irrelevant, i could give a shit if you feel on the defensive. Conversely if you're not out to be told how shit is you have the option of following your own advice or not posting a guide to some random crap you recieved punishment for because you couldn't follow the guidelines.
