Hi^ ^! GWEN comes out in a little over a month! I want to make
a static and collect rares and make a lot of money before the big release!
Guild Wars 2 looks really challenging ! ^ ^ I'd love to go into it with a good,
trusty group, that we have already experience the game together!
My main will be Ritualist, I can heal , summon, nuke, and I have NPCs.
Please list your main and what expansions you have.
I mainly want to focus on NIGHTFALL, but we can go through others
as well as raid special dungeons if we plan in advance.
Please let's do it!(^O^)b

Ritualist,
||Star Ocean||

Thank you!

If your taking noobs, I'll join. I played way back when. Never took it to seriously.

As stated previously:

Tristam Green, lv20 Elementalist
Can multi-role, speciality is old-fashioned Fire Nukes.

Owns Nightfall, has not gotten past the first mission, so no E skills learned there.

Im interested, but idk if Ill be getting every expansion. Maybe one here and one there.. I think nightfall is kind of cheap now, though, so I can probably get it..

My character honestly blows big time, lol. Ive had it for years now, and when I first made it I was up on the "I wanna be a mereeing mage" which doesnt really work that well.

so Im a 13 ele/war, which is stupid.

But yeah, Im interested in having a group, it makes it much more fun... I usually play alone on there anyway, lol

Yeah, I just saw their newest expansion for like 5 bucks...

I haven't bought this at all yet, I'm waiting to see if they want to take a nub into the group before I spend any money.

I've seen some badassss ele/wars in PvP Ruffy. They can't solo for shite, but with earth magic they can many times not take any damage.

Checking EB games for prices:

Guild Wars $30
Factions $40
Nightfall $50
Eyes of the North w/ Bonus! $40 (huh??)

I think Nightfall is the one I really want... I want a dervish!!

But anyway, gonna need to chuck up ~$130 for each expansion. I mean its not a lot, but not very convenient. But will I be able to access areas of Nightfall without having Factions?

yeah, thats what I do when I play.. I use AoE fire magic for damage, then earth spells for defense, and then (I forgot the name) that air spell which is aoe knockdown

Ive never played pvp though, people are ruthless and I cant learn anything because I die so fast and people are like "damn noob" lol which is true, but doesnt help me learn

Yes. I run GW:Prophecies, the first in the series, and Nightfall. I never bought Factions, and I don't intend to.

Here is how the campaigns work:

GW:P - Can make the base six professions - Monk, Elementalist, Warrior, Necro, Mesmer, Ranger
Factions - Grants access to Cantha. Can create Ritualist and Assassins. Can still create original six profs, but cannot create Dervishes or Paragons.
Nightfall - Grants access to Elona. Can create Paragons and Dervishes, but cannot create Ritualists and Assassins. Can still create six orig. profs.

If you aren't really interested in Factions or creating an Assassin or Ritualist, I'd say just buy GW:P and Nightfall. I can't remember, but I think you can actually run Nightfall standalone.

As for your former build, I always found it easier to concentrate on one aspect of Magic, or two at the most. That way, you're not stretching yourself thin with your attributes. I think at most you can go 13-12-12 on attributes. I ended up going 16-15 on attributes.

For a good E/W build (back in the day, so no new skills in account), I would go with a sword/shield or axe/shield, and use 13 Energy Storage, 12 Earth, and 12 in anything else (possibly some W aspect).

awesome, thats good news for me then. Assassin and Ritualist dont really seem to interest me... As you can tell with the ele/war combo, I like to be a close range type mage, I suppose... And from what Ive read about Dervishes, thats kind of what they are.

So I may make a der/ele, but idk yet.

And with my ele/war, my build was kind of focused on 2 things only. Fire and Energy Storage, but I put leftover points into earth and air so that I could use those two abilities.

I did go sword/shield, but I feel so gimp... lol

lol yes, Dervish really is a kind of close-combat mage. I too was intent on rolling a D/E, but had also considered making mine a D/N, so I could use death magic for minions :x

Hi everyone!^ ^

For the past couple days I would say I got 3 parties with other players^^
Nightfall is such a good expansion, much better than Cantha, but
I still like Factions too_(.__.)_

As for the static, anyone is welcome to come, I think our main
'Campaigns' should be Nightfall and Prophecies, since
it seems like many skipped Cantha completely^^w I have all the released expansions, I'm buying GWEN maybe a week after it comes out. (Pre-order?-__-)

This game is very easy to solo in, No waiting time for parties^^
I have 3 heroes with elite skills and great equip, so that
might have something to do with it! ^w^

I highly highly Recommend Prophecies AND Nightfall, Factions is
kind of a waste unless you have the urgent need for an Assassin(not too great) Or a ritualist(favorite :3 <3 but not worth 50$ most likely, it's an acquired taste? ;w; )

see you soon

Il Star Ocean Il

[PS! When dervish is played right, it is really good. Even, my Dervish/Mesmer
Hero is so win(^w^)v I recommend it , for sure. I barely even have to heal my Dervish,
Uses mostly wind prayers, Scythe Mastery, and the rest Mysticism. Made of win^.^v)

Sounds great, I have a friends base Guild Wars, I can prolly get some boot leg version of the expansions maybe and I try and do that. I will update you on the status of that.

I've been looking to play GW a little more... its so boring when you're just running around with heroes and henchmen instead of real people. But lets face it, sometimes real people are just as much of a pain in the butt.

I have a lv20 necro, ranger, elementalist, and mesmer. Haven't done much in Nightfall even though I have it, I got bored with it pretty quick. Maybe I'll finish taking my necro through. I've been working my elementalist through Prophecies and my ranger and necro are just about through factions.

I don't have a guild anymore ><;

bumpers

I haven't run out and bought EotN yet because my fiance's computer is down and we wanted to play it together but I've been working on my Necro again and finally got her 10k Kurzik faction
