So according to the first chart, it's cooler to be able to play the guitar as a fetus, than as a fifteen year old.

Damnit. Now I feel like I wasted my fetal stage.

Yeah =D Plus the note streak required to add a multiplier has been reduced from 10 to 5, really sweet! The Camera angles seem to focus on other band members too, and I like how they made the star power meter into spark plugs or something, and this little quote from IGN makes it rock even harder:

The song list has been carefully picked to meet the wishlists that have littered the internet since Guitar Hero was first released on PS2. More of the songs will be master tracks rather than covers.

And if that wasn't enough, the co-op Career has it's own set list =D

GHIII is set to rock even harder than it's predecessors =D. *headbangs* ROOOOCK OOOON! lol

Knights of Cydonia is cool.... but the one Muse song I would LOVE to see on GH is Stockholm Syndrome. That song rocks hard... and would be pretty damn impossible.

Stockholm Syndrome seconded.

Dead Star would be fun too, but I'd love to see the bassline for Hysteria... wouldn't be excessively hard in GH but it'd probably be a huge strain to keep up through the whole song (similar to John the Fisherman).

God if they put Hysteria on.. I could annoy people with my bad guitar playing and my bad singing! ;O

Well, one of my prayers for GHIII has been answered somewhat, The Metal by The D is gonna kick ass XD "You can't kill the metal" best genre summary ever!

I still hope to see something like KillSwitch Engage, Trivium, ATR, Evanescence, and Dragonforce on GHIII, though Dragonforce would have to be optional unlockables, any Dragonforce song would be much harder than Jordan on GHII.

eh, I'd beg to differ personally. Pretty much every Dragonforce song there is has been hacked into GH at some point and none of them look as difficult as Jordan IMO. If you haven't seen the videos, here's Fury of the storm: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MU-N7QjXuZw and Through the Fire and the Flames http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV0qM6-HLuk (and you can find more just searching Dragonforce Guitar Hero on youtube). I think they'd definitely be hard, but not as bad as Jordan

Okay, Bump @_@

Slash is in GHIII, Welcome to the Jungle confirmed song and new subtitle for the game:

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.

Apparantly, you and Slash face off in a Rock off and if you win, You perform the master track of Welcome to the Jungle. Plus you can play as him too.

The song that players will perform in the rock off was made by Slash himself.

The release is speculated for October 2007.

(Sorry for the bump)

Again, sorry for another bump, but new songs have been confirmed:

- Suck My Kiss - Red Hot Chili Peppers (Master Track!)
- La Grange - ZZ Top
- Number Of The Beast - Iron Maiden (Master Track!!)...

...

... ...

... ... ...

- Through The Fire And Flames - Dragonforce (Master Track!!!)

YEEES!!!!! *dies*

Iron Maiden <3 yay

Red Hot Chili Peppers - boo :|

Here's a little extra from Dragonforce's myspace blog:

"According to Gamespy, since the release of the first Guitar Hero game, Dragonforce has consistently been one of the most requested bands from hardcore players, and, as they have found out through their own playtesting, will likely be the toughest song in the Guitar Hero series to date; thankfully, including it as a bonus song means it won't prevent anyone from completing the normal campaign."

It will be tougher than Jordan!! I know it will be! I checked on scorehero.com and the people who playtested it, failed at 1-3% on expert!

I really don't get how they all failed it so fast... Listening to TTFAF, the intro just doesn't sound like it could be so hard. But I know most of the Scorehero guys are better than I am, so I'll take their word for it. Although this one is going to be killer to 5*, unlike Jordan being easy once you pass it.

Number of the Beast = win

This game needs to come out faster D:

SANATARIUM!!!? Can i hack this song into the game if they dont add it? >.>

Oh my... Thank you.

I've not posted since it's a 360 forum, but I'm a Muse fanatic, so here are my order of songs, in least-wanted to least-wanted:

1(most) - Hysteria. hands-down, the best mofo'ing riff in the past five years IMO.
2 - Knights of Cydonia - I want to freakin' feel like Brian May, dammit.
3 - Stockholm Syndrome - Great riff, would be damn near impossible to play.
4 - Plug in Baby - would they have the 6th greatest riff (voted in Britain) at the beginning?
5 - The Small Print
6 - Starlight - of course, this gets massive radio play now, and the bass alone would be outstanding to play.

(also: has anyone heard if there might be Nightwish on there? Emppu is a guitar god for the modern age IMO)
