Gundam 00 Discussion Thread.

Episode 10:

Oh fuck this just got a shit ton more intense. The A-LAWS are now more genocidal than ever. They have a freaking Orbital Laser poised to destroy whatever country they want to now.

The 0-Riser that the 00 now has seems to be incredibly powerful from the test run they did while 00 was in Trans-AM. Oh, and the biggest holy shit moment.

HALLELUJAH RETURNS!
 
There's some serious mobile suit power creep in this show though.
 
Episode 11: Wtf moments revisited.
Why do the Gundam creators have this obsession with everyone naked...?

Otherwise to that, the episode was pretty decent.
I still don't see how the 0 Riser is going to make 00 better than the Innovators are showing themselves to be. Could be that I'm just cynical though...

I want Hallelujah back for more than 2 seconds, damn it!

Finally: was it just me, or was the episode out fairly early this week?
 
It wasn't the fact that they were naked, it was more the fact that their minds resonated and saw each other. A few of the characters could be considered as "Newtypes" now maybe.
 
Episode 12:

Setsuna shown the Innovators who's boss =D

Oh also, Louise shows her crazier face. God she's creepy now.

@ Myst. The 00 Raiser's Power managed to drive back Revive Revival and Bring Stabity fairly quickly.

Finally, future episode name list:

Ep 13: Offensive Operation: Memento Mori
Ep 14: A Song is Heard
Ep 15: Paean of the Rebellion (lol)
Ep 16: Prelude to Tragedy.

Edit: The source I got those names from were proven false and the real ones for next month have been posted (From what I can safely assume is the real titles from next month's TV guides in Japan).

The series will end March 22 2009, shortly before the 30th Anniversary of the Gundam Franchise. (In case your wondering, the original Mobile Suit Gundam first Aired 7th April 1979).

Ok, so episode 14. This is when things are getting even more interesting.

Notable points:

- Ribbons piloted the 0 Gundam that saved Setsuna.
- Ptolemy was shot down but landed safely on Earth, Ian's Reaction was HILARIOUS!
- Tieria FINALLY revealed his hidden Gundam. Seraphim!
- Tieria vs Bring. Bring seems to be dead. That's 1 Innovator down for the count, maybe.
- Ali shot Setsuna and began fighting him.
- Setsuna almost won if it weren't for Marina ¬_¬
- Graham (Mr. Bushido) gets his new MS.

Gundam fans, it is now the beginning of the end.

Oops, forgot to write up about ep 15.

Character Development for Marina;
The new MA that's been made for Louise is being tested;
Louise's eyes are glowing again so... yeah, she's a semi-Innovator;
Coup d'etat;
Graham's new MS can use Trans-AM.

Writing up about episode 16 in a moment, watching the raw.
 
Episode 16. Now the prelude to tragedy begins.

- The A-LAWS send in those Automatons to kill off both civilian and regular army, furthermore, they manipulate the information from inside the Tower to make it look like the army and not the A-LAWS are murdering the civilians.
- Hercules (Sergei's friend) anticipated this and has begun moving the civilians to out of the tower in preparation for the civilians to spread the truth. Sergei is also on the Tower looking on in horror.
- Setsuna vs Trans-GramAm. The two seem to be on even grounds now. Setsuna falls unconscious due to his injury.
- The Prelude to Tragedy. There is a second Memento Mori, and it is preparing to fire on the Tower.

Gundam 00 fans, the ultimate tragedy. The destruction of the Orbital Elevator to silence 60,000 civilians to keep the truth from getting out.

Oh and before I forget.

Saji pilots the 00 Gundam it seems next episode!

Found some translations of what was on the TV guide synopsis. HEAVY SPOILERS... ?

Episode 17: “Within the Scattered Light”

While still undergoing repairs, Ptolemy is unable to break the deadlock. Meanwhile, the injured Setsuna stands up with his broken body in order to do what must be done. And so Setsuna offers words to Saji.

Episode 18: “Mixed Feelings”

Tieria proposes to the Ptolemy crew who are worried about the Federation falling to A-LAWS control, that they ought to undertake a mission to recapture Veda. For that purpose, Sumeragi drafts a plan which centers around capturing an Innovator.

Episode 19: “The Innovators’ Shadow”

Saji searches for Louise’s suit in the chaos of battle. While fighting with Hilling who [suddenly] appeared, Setsuna unleashes the Twin Drive’s power. The accelerated particles envelope the entire battlefield.

Episode 20: “Anew Return”

The Gundams do battle with a new unit which appeared alongside Hilling and Revive. While struggling with the new unit, Cheridum is separated from the battlefield. From inside Cheridum’s damaged cockpit, Lyle cries out heading toward the new unit as both suits strike [at one another].


My Theories... Things are about to get quite interesting.

Ok, I finally watched the translation of the episode and it seems the next episode will take place after a 4 month timeskip in the timeline.
 
Plot development? in MY gundam?

Looks like the build up to the finale is beginning.
 
Yeah, looks to be that it's gonna be one hell of a finale too.

Also, on a side note. This series will end where the original Gundam began, April. Also, it seems 4chan's /m/ board may be planning an event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Gundam.

Episode 19

One major change in the OP

Anew now has Veda eyes. She was confirmed as an Innovator last episode, whether she knows or not is yet to be seen.


Ok, summary:

- Tieria captures Revive Revival
- Nena attacks Wang Liu Mei with her new Gundam Throne (Unknown whether she is dead yet)
- Ribbons slaps Regene
- Marina survives the ALAWS attack, Klaus shot the enemies.
- Anew shoots Lasse (dead?) after Veda Eyes activate! OH SHIT!
 
Episode 20

ANEW!!!!! TT_TT

Lyle is incredibly upset, Fucking Ribbons!!!

Summary:

- Anew attempted to steal the 00 and the 0-Raiser with Revive, but both were thwarted by the crew and a Haro.
- Lasse is alive, but in the med-labs, unsure of his outlook until subs are out/next episode.
- 0-Raiser was damaged and wasn't able to sortie during the episode.
- Anew defected and Louise obtained a New Mobile Armor.
- Ribbons turn out to have the ability to control people's minds who are linked to Veda such as the other Innovators and Louise.
- Louise, Revive, Hilling and Anew attack the Ptolemy II to attempt to steal the 00 again.
- Epic Fight ensues.
- Lyle vs Anew, Lyle convinces Anew to return (lol)
- Fucking Ribbon's wouldn't have that, and controlled Anew while Lyle was defenceless, severely damaging Cherudim.
- Just before Anew(Ribbons) dealt the final blow, Setsuna killed Anew with Trans-AM-Raiser.
- Lyle and Anew have a Newtype moment before Anew's MS exploded.
- Lyle cried out.
- Lyle beat up Setsuna, veeeeeeeeery badly.

Poor Lyle T_T

Oh and the preview for 21:

- Lui Mei and Hong Long lived.
