Dependable on job. It's like a mini maat fight (solo, level 60, no subjob), with a lot of luck too. Depending on the goblin dice rolls, it can turn the tide of the fight.
The goblin which accompanies the puppet throws random dice rolls, which can give you or the puppet a buff (HP recovery, abilities recharge, Attack Boost, Defense Boost, TP increase by 100%, TP increase to 300%, and for the puppet unique throws, it can force the puppet to use a job ability, like 2 hour/shield bash if PLD type, etc)
The trouble for some jobs are, like RDM, is that a 300% Spirits Within from the puppet can one shot you (1200+ damage). Not too sure about the others, but I would sure like to find out what job Donaldos did it on, since he's been record keeper for well over 6 months now. I tried asking him but he didn't respond.
It's a fun fight, but can be expensive to get in. Go to Oldton Movapolos from North Gustaberg, the EAST entrance (there are 2). Once inside, walk a bit in and there's a NPC goblin, trade him money (10k max) and he will roll 2 dices. If the result is between 2-50 (for 10k gamble), he'll give you a key item. Trading him a further 2k then will make him teleport you to the Mine Shaft battlefield.
2000 EXP + Job Specific Equip (all level 61 with enchantments) + lugworm. The equip isn't 100%.
