hackers unveil new items in halo 3 beta code

A Halo modding community has accidentally made various hidden game files public, found by retrieving hidden data in the Halo 3 Beta code.

* New equipment: Instacover ; Smoke (suggested this might be a smoke grenade?) ; Jammer
* New vehicles: Chopper ; Pelican ; Shadow
* New weapons: Flamethrower ; Claymore Grenade
* New mode: Infection (described as "Destroy the Flood or become infected. Score points for killing flood or big points for infecting a human. The player with the most points wins."
* New rankings: The highest rankings are now Killpocalypse and Killionaire, instead of Double Kill and Triple Kill.
* A reference to a map editor has also been found, a returning feature from Halo 2.

So we can finally fly a pelican, that sounds bad ass. If you could do like air drops on a map, maybe like assault a base like on high grounds but the base is on an island and you have to insert with a pelican thatd be pro.

I found the killpocolypse particularly ammusing.

As far as the zombie thing goes, i really hope it puts in like the first person view of the flood and not just turn your armor green and make you pull out your sword.

i want Race gametype back. I think the most fun game of halo i eer played was a 16 man Race on that PC only Halo 1 map taht resemebled the Silent Cartographer level

The game type was a 16 man Race with Warthogs and Rocket Warthogs, Starting weapon Rockets. It was so much damn fun casue the vehicle respawn was 30 seconds so ther was always a warthog at the base if you died.

But imagine a hollywood movie with a Exsplosive care battle sequence and that was this game.. I mean Cars were fliping and flying threw the air best dame game ever. And i prey to god the remake that level casue it was so much fun.. Rocket Races are the only truely fun Race type game though... They might have to disable the Lock on function for it to work well though now

on the new map Shrine, its rather hard or maybe long to get around without vehicles. They are saying they made vehicle respawn much faster there, along with weapons on map RocketLauncher and Spartan Laser. Along with the vehicles is the new Brute Chopper.. which i am sure is very fun in a vehicle preffered map.
