Hakutaku....Peacock Charm? O.O

My Japanese is a bit rusty, I can only recognize a bit...

The first one is "Oputikuru Hatto" I can clearly tell right off the bat...

The second one... the Kanji I forgot which it was, but what's following it is
"no kurisutaru", so it's safe to assume that it's a Crystal.

The third one I'm reading as... "Kujyaaku no" something-or-other...

I can read Hiragana and Katakana pretty well, but Kanji's kind of my
weak point.

So... I can't say for sure.
 
No idea if it's real, but yes, that last one (クジャクの護符) is Peacock Charm. (See here.)

Thats the Kanji for Darkness.

I only know this because someones Bazaar comment had the days of the Vana'diel week in it, and I know what fire/water/earth Kanji is.

My only guess, is that the charm is an incentive to get people to do Hakutaku. Plenty of people get their hats and ditch, or get their hats and never want to see him again. This'll keep those people sticking around and helping, on the off chance the charm drops and they can lot.
 
Well then the question arises of how you distribute it. Does it go to the person whose cluster it was? Is it free lot? Does it get sold and split, and if so, can you really trust that'll actually be done fairly in a pickup hktk alliance? (An HNMLS doing a hktk run is one thing, but not all hktk runs are done by people who do tons of stuff together and trust each other.)

I'm starting to see why S-E put in that blurb in the code of conduct that translates to "if you can't agree on what to do with the item, or try to steal it from each other, we'll just confiscate it".

I lean towards option #2.
