Eh.. I never had much of a problem, myself, with the bouncing boobies thingy and the other pictures. Easily ignorable :P Besides.. anyone who's posting here I'm sure knows or has atleast an idea what sex is and the body parts that are "not supposed to be seen". I kinda find it really stupid people get so anal about it :| they are just natural body parts. If some people enjoy showing them off so be it. And the "omg think of the children!" gets annoying cause they are gonna find out one day. It'd be more responsible if the parent introduced the subject (not showing them porn but talking to them atleast >.>) and taught the child about it. Then, maybe, the parent could get them from having sex at a really early age like some people are these days :| Just so much stupid overly protective motherly crap going around that drives a child insane and want to do the act just to spite the mother if not just for the fun (atleast.. I have friends that are like this.. kinda makes me disappointed with em but whatever).
 
With how screwed up cultures are nowadays, pretty sure boys and girls all know what boobs look like by age 13. ¬_¬;;
 
So just to make sure I'm on the same page with everyone else here.. you're saying it's totally cool if a woman wants to have some hairy guy wearing manties with a big boner as her avatar as long as his junk is covered? What about pics of girls pissing through their panties? I mean, that's fine since the naughty bits are covered, right? Or if I'm wrong, where exactly is the line of decency drawn for this site? I personally don't want to look at girls who haven't gone through puberty yet attempting to be sexy for me and if I'm in the mood for "hot asian chicks" or whatever, I can go to google image search and type in the word "asian". I'm here to talk about Final Fantasy XI, not feel like a lecherous old man, rofl.
 
Women showing their breasts does not bother me in the least as long as it's done tastefully. That is key in my eyes.

The above is not tasteful to a female. Although I can overlook it, it still bothers me. It looks like a 13 year old little girl trying to be sexy. That in my eyes is nothing but child porn, and by you using that avatar it means you either at the very least condone it, or you truly like child porn. That is just wrong.
 
You do have the option to turn the sigs/avatars/images on or off. Sure, you'll miss out on a lot of creative gems and all but if you're worried of what may be on screen while at work or school then this is the way to go.

I can understand where the OP is coming from but I have not yet seen nudity anywhere on these boards... and boy am I pissed!
 
That's overkill to solving a simple problem. We just need an official word from the man in charge as to what it and isn't appropriate for this site. If Sculli says it's okay for pedophilic pics or avatars that are nothing but giant breasts with happy faces covering the nipples or whatever then that's what we'll see. *shrugs* If you guys and your obsession with scantily clad women make me have to start looking at pics of guys in manties though, I'm gonna be pissed. :(

Taste is subjective and I'd prefer not to be in the same boat with many of you. QCDN doesn't have a certain taste. We all do, separately. Unless something is in piss poor taste (which we'd all agree on), I think the few people it seems to bother should just shut ass. Either that, or the big guy is forced to make a "blanket" decision. Either way problem solved.

I don't mind if someone thinks it would be funny or cool to put some picture of a guy in the avatar or sig. Just don't take away the simple pleasure of boobies. I'll look at what I want to look at. If there is someone who has a particularly "bad" image, I think it's FAIR if that person is dealt with on an individual basis.

Do I want to look at David Hasslehoff on a swing? Hell no. Is it funny? Yeah. Hasslehoff is more naked on G-rated television, as are women, compared to anything I've seen here. Let it go.
 
oh.. by the way.. you don't like the image and use Firefox? Right click the image and choose "block (so and so)" D:
 
I <3 boobs, don't get me wrong. My point is that currently there are absolutely no guidelines as to what you can have as your avatar. Right now, I could have a zoomed in pic of a vagina as an avatar as long as it's 150x150 and under 24k or whatever (but not if it's animated!). I'd just like to know what is and isn't considered okay for the site, that's all. Is that being unreasonable? Because if it is then I'll go ahead and toss up that vag avatar, or maybe a zoom in of goatse for variety.

Actually I don't think it should be one person deciding on what's appropriate or not, maybe either a group concensus(sp?><) and then a decision, or a small group of like 3 or so people to decide. Just to get more of a general opinion than someone's direct opinion.

But that's just MY opinion. :D
