Halloween Noob ( . .); FFXI ghost story

last Halloween during ffxi I was taking abreak from the game so I missed all the fun and festivities. This year however I'm having a lot of fun looking at all the npcs and players running around in monster gear lol. Yet, one thing constantly makes me jump and zone back... ( . .);

it all began after I used an outpost tele from the dunes back to the metalworks in bastok. Usual turn of things, warp back and head back out to the markets and then to port right? ~_~; Upon exiting the metalworks as a 64 whm/blm I am greeted by the unfriendly avatar of a ghost! It's an npc, I know. Yet, with a full 61 playing days in, my finger pulls back on my analog, zoning back inside the metaworks. I ask my LS about it, and they tell me it's part of the event going on currently. I brush it off and laugh and continue on my way back outside to the markets...

Habbit be habbit.... still using teleports back to metalworks, and every darn time is that ghost ><!!! And stupid me, with the constant ffxi instict of ghost = bad/death/carnage/pain/lvl down/paralyze/sleep/magic/link/aggro always zone back into metalworks ><!!! I've done this about 6 times now ><!!!! Curse that NPC.. always crossing that area right as I am leaving... I think they have cameras ;-;

i really hate those stupid things, but i know where ur coming from..i myself took a break last halloween season as well....i was quite disapointed when i heard about the costume stuff....i love running around as a spook/bogy etc on flee i always look like im having a seizure

The npc that looks that that dark night nm, I can't remember his name, that is located at the entrance of the mh area in Windy Woods, made me do a major double take. He was one of the first nm that I camped, so it was cool seeing him there chilling out.
