I love Halloween. Absolutely adore it. It's my favorite holiday of the whole year. I like that I can become someone I'm not and have fun without being ridiculed.

That, and I have a fantastic red and black dress with gorgeous velvet-lacey bell sleeves and a bodice that does some nice, uh...hoisting of features. ^^;;

If you're going to make digs Lokkin, you have accept the fact that people are going to dig back. Make some more positive posts and you get positive responses. Don't come on a thread that's about how much people love halloween and say it's for kids, and chances are people won't fire back at you...just a thought :roll:

Oh, when I was a little kid, I was dressed up kind of like a RDM, this was about at age 6. Big floppy red hat with the feather, red robes, and red sweatpants. And a big-tin-foil-wrapped piece of cardboard that was supposed to be a sword. :D Called myself a "warlock", and all the other kids in preschool looked at me funny, in their trashy little pre-bought costumes. Maybe I'll throw up a pic or two up if I can get my scanner workin' again.

Lokkin...Everyone is expressing their opinions. That's all.
No one is jumping down your throat to be malicious. Most of us love this community and its variety of topics.
However, if anyone says something that doesn't make an ounce of sense, they can expect that someone will be there to keep them honest.
So if you are just being silly or sarcastic with what you say, make an effort to pull the little :roll: icon in there to prove it, or just make sure it is over the top.
A few people thought you were serious though, and decided to offer a counterpoint. Anyone could expect the same...This is not a popularity contest.

If you come on and say, yeah yeah dogs are this and that, but all they do is bark and shit and people only have them because of traditions that have nothing to do with anything, and people are too dumb to even realize that they are a pawn in this life.

So it's not Halloween, it's dogs. At least if you express and opinion, don't say it as fact. Once it comes out as fact, if it's wrong, or debateable, this is a forum and it will be debated.
