I took this pic because I thought the angle of me overlooking the very, very bright blue explosion was kinda nice. Explosion occurred when someone was charging up a spartan laser shot. I threw a grenade, and just as the laser shot was about to go off, the grenade exploded, causing the nearby fusion cores to explode, causing that big pretty explosion. Mm mm mm mm good.

And this kill surprised the shit out of me:

I was originally aiming my laser at the blue spartan on the right. What I did not know however, was that there was an invisible elite right in front of me. Needless to say, he got killed (he literally came out of fuckin' nowhere!) And then I melee'd the spartan for a double kill :j

Very little of the pro players skill came from actual skill. Anyone could 3 shot with the pistol in halo 1 and anyone can four shot someone in halo 2. I'm more than willing to say that when i played H2 alot i could hang with any of the pros in terms of skill. I played a few games with the ogres and it was pretty even between us.

The reason the pros were pros was because of how they knew the level and how well they use terrain. Anyone can 4 shot with practice.

Also, if someone only really thrived because of 4 shotting, then they have alot of work ahead of them since it got taken out.

Sorry for late response. I know what your saying, teamwork makes champions. I played MLG briefly and got to practice FFA with Anarchy, T2, Walshy, Ogre2, Pistol, TsK XXX(when he played) and some friends, and as far as skill went, it was even when it came to face to face battles. The winners were the map controllers and the guys who would steal kills.

Teamwork wins MLG. Its too bad some decent guys cant get together and practice 24/7 and just suprise everyone at MLG, but theres a few randoms every now and then that get top 8.

So i geuss it all boils down to skill and primarily teamwork
