When I try to log on, it gets to the Acquiring player data screen but then it just sits there until it eventually times out. Anyone know what would cause this?

It used to do that a whole lot to me on days of big updates. The only thing i ever did was wait until the next day and it worked again.

FFXI-3113 right? It's doing that to me too... God and everybody else seems to be able to use it.

And Tech support is no help, seeing as you can't reach them.

If you haven't although I'm sure you have reset the modem and test connectivity from your PC outgoing and see if you're dropping connection at random or such.

Dunno what to do, but resetting does nothing.

I am having the same problem. I zoned into valkurm dunes and I got D/C then every time I would log in the same thing would happen over and over again until I got FFXI - 3113 error where basically it eventually times out.

5:30 am central time, and it's still happening. There's a message from SE you can get to during the log in that says something to the effect of "We investigated and our stuff's working ok."

Anyone know how I can get in touch with the bastards? Live? This truly sucks!

Same thing happened to my brother. He gave it an hour and when he logged on he was moved from the center of the dunes to La Theine.

Well I'm in Cape Coral now instead of Orlando and it works fine. I think it's certain ISP's or something even though both are comcast.

I finally fixed my problem after shutting both PC & modem down for 10 mins, turned them both on and it works fine, since it gave me a new IP address I guess D:<
