Yeah, my truck in a "secure" underground parking 3 floors down got broken into and smashed to fucking high hell. They took everything. Books, gifts to and from friends, a Ps2, my stereo, my trucks FUCKING FUSES so I can't even start it, and so much fucking more that's not even worth to steal. Shit from like, Japanese mix CDs to a nearly empty bottle of tanning oil.

I fucking hate people, you all fucking suck, fuck you. I don't fucking deserve this fucking bullshit.

Yeah I don't trust people at all, and leave very little valuables in my car. Put my Ipod in my pocket when I get out of the car. I even lock my doors when I go in to prepay for gas. But that really sucks, people are assholes and don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. I just got scammed buying a hookah online for $150, put a lot of work into making that site look legit. What can you do =/

Yeah, any damage to the car will get covered, but his personal belongings wont be covered unless he has a renter's insurance policy for his apartment. Auto insurance wont cover anything stolen from the car, only the damage inflicted during said robbery =/

Sucks to hear that Myrrh! I hope you can get stuff settled. Usually "secure" lots like that will have a security camera showing the exits or something. :/ I believe some insurances will cover stolen items but usually only if you have theft coverage and only if that theft coverage includes the items inside your car. It all depends on your company. And knowing insurance companies they will find SOME way to get around giving you the money for whatever possible.

Holy hell....that really sucks a big one ><. Just try to keep as calm as you can, call your insurance company, at the very least the damage to your car will be taken care of. I know it must really suck, but try to think of it this way. You weren't there when it happened, so you still have your health. Try to keep positive, as hard as it can be, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My brothers car was broken into and our car insurance (USAA) covered the damage to the car and reimbursed him for the stolen CDs and stereo equipment from his car.

It's totally shitty that this happened to you. I'm so sorry to hear it.

My mom had something like that happen a few months back when it was still warm at night. Some little hoods broke into her car and stole some cds, her hidden spare change cup for thruway tolls, her bluetooth for the car, and some odds and ends of other things from the backseat. She's about the sweetest person I know, and I was so angry that people would do that to her, but people don't care who they steal from. After that, I don't leave anything in my car. I take my GPS out and I make sure I don't keep cds in my car - I just use my iPod instead - and just keep both in my coat pocket with me when I get out.

If your parking garage is advertised as "secure," I'd check with your landlord or whoever is supposed to maintain it and see if there's anything they can do... Like do they have any insurance coverage for things like this, or electronic surveillance that you can provide to the cops? Just seems like they should be doing something more for you if it's supposed to be secure. :/

Karma will take care of the dirtbags who wronged you. I'm sure better things are in store for you in the coming year.

That's a shame, people have to ruin other people's day like that. It must have been someone from around the area, to get away with that much stuff would be hard. Chances are that someone must have seen something, I mean they must have walked around looking into cars or something, that kind of thing is suspicious. Then again people may see something a just look the other way, the fucking sad side of humanity. It's a damn shame...
