IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

To those serving... past, present, and future, Happy Veterans Day. Wear your poppies with pride.

Let us never forget their sacrifices for us. You may not agree with some of the wars our troops have fought in, but blame our governments not our troops.

Take your moment of silence at 11:11 on this 11th day of the 11th month to honour those who gave their lives for us to live today.

Also, don't stab yourself with your poppy like I keep doing -_- or have it fall off numerous times and get lost. I love poppies, but I always have such bad luck with them. I've gone through three now this year.

Also, please give QCDN's newest Marine a good game. Claxton recently graduated from basic.
