The last few weeks, I've gone through some things I just didn't see coming and so much has changed. I've thought a lot about old times, friends who've gone, and so many good memories. But the one thought that has been strongest is that things will never, ever be the same for me again. I'd rather walk away from the game holding dear the people and moments that made the last three years so much fun, and my time here so special then let it degrade into something that I dread. I'm leaving the game for good, once I've taken care of my gear and said my goodbyes.
I have so many people to say something about; there are so many people who have been good to me:
First and foremost, Roadkill - I always have and I always will love you with all my heart. My first, best, and dearest friend here, I've loved every moment with you from the very beginning to the end... Every adventure online and off. No matter where life takes you, I hope that it is full of genuine happiness and love. You know I will always be here for you if you should ever need me.
Freez - I haven't had the chance to see you as much as I used to, but I will never forget the times you talked me down from the ledges and went out on a limb for me. You always believed that things would work out, and you always supported us. You were my favorite mentor and one of my best friends and I won't ever forget it.
Djrealmz - One of my oldest friends, you always get me killed and make me laugh, especially when I need it the most. You were the first to hug me and offer a shoulder when my world fell apart and I can't tell you how much that meant to me. Thanks for always being there, for being a part of the perversion, the adventure, the death & excitement. I will miss you.
Anakareen - It's so seldom that I see you these days, but I remember way back when Lark came on and you asked me to be the person to handle your online wedding. I was honored. You always greeted me with a hug and stayed in touch even after Serendipity faded away. You were around from the very beginning for me. You always made me nostalgic for Kupos.
Xalo & the rest of the gang from Serendipity - The shell was very special to me because of all of you. The laughs we had, the fun we managed to get into, made signing on every day something to look forward to. I hope you all are well and that you think as fondly of those days as I always will.
Cerato & Robilarr - You guys were always willing to do whatever to help out; you were funny and positive and I loved being around you both.
Darksoo - So freakin funny and helpful and supportive. I don't get to see you a lot these days, but I won't forget talking with you about everything and all the good advice you gave. You really listened and you always made me believe that no matter what, we'd come out on the other side for the better. Thank you for being there and for caring.
Myrrh - You made me laugh so much, fired me up or listened to me bitch, and always had my back when I really needed help. Thank you for everything.
Audino - You are a riot. So much time I spent doing dynamis with you over the years; I spent so many of those nights laughing my ass off at you and the crew. And what's more is you're just as cool a guy in person as you are in the game. You'll have to let me know next time there's a trip with everyone. I'll make sure I don't miss out next time.
The Nyzul static - I feel bad about leaving before all were through, but to be honest, there are times when you have to take a hard look at things and make choices on what's best for your own well being. And I simply cannot be in this game anymore. I hope you all understand; It certainly is not how I would've liked things to be, but there is no alternative for me anymore. Good luck with future runs, and take care of yourselves.
Others who have shared in the fun and adventure over the last three years - If I didn't mention you here, it's because my mind is a jumble with everything and not because you didn't make an impression, I promise you. To all of you who have been a part of the good times I've had over the years, thank you for everything. Those of you who have moved on to WoW or just moved on in general (Lit, Vin, Zan, Peh, Sav & Elli), I'm so glad I had the good fortune to meet you all and call you friends.
That said, take care all of you. I may or may not stay around QCDN, I don't really know for sure yet. Those of you I'm closest to know how to stay in touch, and I hope that you do. I will miss you all.
