Hardest boss you've come across.

He thinks he'll be able to pop in one quickening and then run out. That should take you around 100 hours. GO FOR IT DUDE!!! Also what about fafnir? You have to beat him in one sitting and he hits for like 5000 with just his normal attacks. But screw bubble right? Right? All right!

Ah. Well, I imagine that would take a bit of time, but if you think that's better than using the "accursed" bubble spell, more power to ya for sticking up for your beliefs man. Respectable trait, even if I think it's a silly belief.^^

I have excellent gambits, but am still struggling with Fafnir, but I'm only level 50, you think I'm underleveled, or what? >_< Advice appreciated. ^^
 
Fafnir is a hunt in Paramina. Also stop with that OMG SPOILER bullshit. I seriously doubt saying theres a boss in a tower is going to hurt anyones gaming experience. THERES ALWAYS A FUCKING BOSS IN A TOWER.

someone tried Gilgamesh yet? I had a lot of trouble but stil won first try using a lot of potions and phoenix dawns.
 
So clocian how did it go? Still waiting on your fafnir feedback.

Zeromus was a pretty hard fight. Yay for just letting people die then phoenix downing them.

if all you do is story mode Bubble may seem cheap, the real challenges in the game require it because unlike previous FF's HP doesn't cap at 9999. Saying it is cheap is like calling protect and shell cheap

So far toughest mob for me was a toss up between death scythe(which would be much easier with proper preperation and a couple phoenix downs in inventory) and the esper in the sewers under Rabanastere where you have a continuous hp drain and a series of rediculously dibilitating status affects from the mob(solution = gambit, ally hp < 50 = curaja, and making a remedy gambit and chronos tear gambit). Everything else I have utterly destroyed but I haven't been rushing to the end and many challenges still await. preping to do rank 7 hunts now, should be interesting.
 
am I the only one keeping up with the hunts as the story progresses? XD I keep running out so I'm forced to do the story D: :P
 
No i'm doing them. I have roblon left to do then I get to go to Archades. Yay me.
 
anyone know what float does? >.> from what I can tell it doesn't really help with evasion or damage.. and not really sure it's purpose XD
