Elder Wyrm, or Tyrant

This didnt incluse side-quest bosses. I do all of the side-quest stuff on multiple new games. There were quite a few pretty darn hard bosses in this game (which is good )

Elder Wyrm was so easy...

Hardest storyline fight would probably be...well nothing really, their all really simple. Shield and Gauntlet user with decoy, bubble, and regen on pretty much makes everything easy though...

Firemane, I just wasn't ready for him. =P Level 5 Vaan, nobody has water or ice magic, and not running in circles beforehand to regen my MP = several phoenix downs and wondering how far back I would have to go if I died. Got through it but man that fight surprised me.

Ya the Firemane came outa nowhere, but I was luckily ready. Like someone said before (Tyrath?) I think they're hinting that suprise fights will come.

atm i am having trouble with the ring wyrm >.<

all characters are lvl 20ish, i bring it to about 10-20% of its total HP before getting destroyed each time

I am having trouble with Ring Wyrm too XD but I have no quickenings so ya.. that's always fun XD

all of my characters are around level 25-29, last boss i killed was... ummm... well, i'm just starting the plot stuff in bhujerba, I've one hit almost every boss i've encountered yet, some tough marks including Nidhogg and Rocktoise (thanks again ele!), and I'm trying to exp a bit in westersands.... not going very well, mobs are like level 30, all i can do is the oh so slow Mist and save crystal technique i learned doing werewolves early in the game...

Firemane put up a good fight but I did manage to win. I've read pasts threads about him so I was able to prepare for him a little. Right now I'm currently stuck on Nidhogg. I'm determined to beat him before moving on with the story though. Found a good spot at the bridge to level up on. Only problem is sometimes I get overwhelmed there and I eventually find myself with one party member alive with half health. I pretty much have to level up for the bridge so I can level up for Nidhogg .

I found Demon Wall (second one) easy.. I have yet to kill the first one x.x it squishes me before I can XD (if I had quickenings I bet I could but I don't wanna XD )

I think I was level 12-13ish when I beat Nidhogg, the key was to keep him Blind and Slowed, then he's pretty harmless, also keep protect up on however has hate.

for me it was the wyvern in the desert where all the oil refineries are did 5 chain quickining and statred using water spell and ran out of mp and no ethers i had to kite for mp then attack, FYI. Vossler has telekinesis

Elemmire don't use quickenings for Ring Wyrm, use belias. Most of the wyrms attacks heal him...

The first one? I managed to pop a 13k windburst concurance quickening then i just berserked vossler and went to town on him. I killed him before I even hit the half way mark. Demonsbane sword is SO FUCKING WORTH IT.

I had a surprisingly hard time with Ahriman in Sochen Cave Palace. It felt like the Promy-Dem boss, overwhelming me by spitting out babies. (Plus there's the added stress of the last save point being a bit of a hike back.)

hehe, I won't have to worry about using quickenings if I shouldn't xD I still haven't learned any! WEEE!!! Makes a lot of bosses fun though none have been entirely too hard (atleast story bosses)

Edit: HAW HAW! TAKE THAT RING WYRM! 2 PLD-like characters with DD capabilities + healer = YOU DEAD!

BTW, bubble is fuggen cheap. Just looked it up. Fight bosses without abilities like that. MUCH FUNNER.

Nothing was too bad yet.

But I fuond nigdogg(sp) to be a chump and a half when he was slowed and blinded as well. I was level 13 I think.

haha, I'm declaring shyrra as my personal player's guide. Yeah I'm level 11-13 now with slow and blind. Sounds like it's time for a rematch.
