So I was noticing that the text on my monitor was getting blurry and giving me a headache to read.

I browsed online and found a solution which would be to lower my Hardware Acceleration from Full down a notch until the problem is fixed. Well I lowered Hardware Acceleration down 1 notch and the blur seemed to be fixed but now anytime I run a windows application that uses frame rate such as FFXI, Modelviewer etc it gets really choppy whenever the Mouse Cursor is on screen. Soon as the Mouse Cursor is gone though so is the FPS Lag.

Any fixes to both my problems without creating a new one?

Just off the top of my head; are you using the hardware mouse cursor option for the applications you're having issues with like FF?

Yes Ive been using Hardware Mouse Cursor for FFXI. However if I use Software Cursor and it fixes the problem, how about all the rest of the programs that also have an error whenever the mouse cursor is used with them?

well crap, shoots me down ... i've noticed occasionally i have the same issue on and off when i'm playing WoW and switch between firefox and the game too quick, usually i just have to close the window and it goes back to normal, then just reopen it... not sure why it gets the hiccups only sometimes but meh.... Only thing i could recommend is if it's only dropping when the cursor comes up see if taking off the hardware cursor helps .. aside from that i've only got a menial education in troubleshooting software and defer to someone else with a better handle on things.

Mayhaps there's something in the mouse config that might help out in control panel.
