Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I wish there was the covered black text so i could discuss the book.

Anyhow, I thought the ending seemed to be rushed through. It seemed like it was there and then the book was done. And consequentially, the series as well.

Maybe.

Where there's a way to moar money... well, you know.

Just fnished it too .. it brings tears to my eyes when dobby died :( and I pretty like the tale of Kreacher too :/

I agree the ending is a bit too rushed.. (eh? saved the world then just headed to bed? lol) and the plots are arranged in a way you can predicted.

... and voldemort is a little bit too dumb in this book I think... -_-

The epilogue left a lot to be desired. I would've personally been happy with an account of the aftermath of the war...rather than what we were given.

Other than that, it was really good. Many of the deaths made me sad...especially the one I'd least expect to be sad for *hinthint*

FAN FUCKING TASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would have finished it alot sooner if office max had closed for the weekend. but reguardless she finished this greatly and the last chaper was how i like closings. Finality but not overdone. i was correct about a few things i suspected and wrong on others and it only made me happier.

i also never took the armband i got from borders at the midnight party off till i finished reading it bout 5 min ago. and i hope that the idiot writers leaching off this phonominal stroyline finally back off now that its finished.

So, what happened?

Make a thread named "Deathly Hollows SPOILARRZ" and just go crazy on it. I'm not reading the book and I wanna know!

i wanna know what happens, be a true nerd and buy the book.

HOLY SHIT GOOD BOOK

I have to agree though, the Epilogue left ALOT to be desired, and the ending chapter was a bit rushed. I'm definately gonna reread it though, alot slower, cause you know, it sinks in more the second time. God it was awesome D:

I thought the book was great, action in almost every chapter. I think that its going to make one spectacular movie, at least visually. I was however a bit disappointed. How it was was perfectly fine but im just upset that Rowling didn't answer the 2 things that i was dying to know about, ghosts and the portraits. I'm still a little confused about both of these aspects of the wizard world.

Also (this is a spoiler for something that did not happen, so if you were hoping that this is going to happen and you haven't read the book yet, don't read)

I was upset that the muggles governments didn't get into the fight against the death eaters, the beginning of half blood prince got me so excited that, finally some god damn British army guys are going to blast some damn evil wizards with an automatic rifle. I was hoping right before the final epic battle (read the book if you haven't) that some of the members of the order were going to bring some soldiers and protect them with magic and then go from there.

But overall it was good closure to the harry potter story, and i hope that more work is published about the harry potter universe, whether it be by rowling her self or a spinoff author, i would love to read something about godric gryffindors day.

WTF? Is this book like 12 pages long? Or are the letters just really big?

Even my boss already finished it, and he doesn't read.

Some people were just compelled to read it until they finished Pako.

I finished in a short amount of time. Book was like a roller coaster. The only thing I was kind of unhappy with was the final battle was kind of well anti-climatic.

Spoiled it for me, I saw "HARRY POTTER SPOILER" and thought it was a joke...then again I didn't really care because i don't read the series. Don't go to this site if you don't want a spoiler.

Amazon.com said they'd have it to my door by April 21st.

Then they noticed that I'm overseas - they said I wasn't included in their guarantee. OK, no big deal, says I, just send it on April 21st.

Come July 22nd, the book still hasn't been shown as sent.

Now when I check on the 23rd, it shows as sent, and the shipping date? July 21st.

I wan't my money back >.<
