J.K. Rowling: "Two Characters Will Die in Last Harry Potter Book"

Rowling: 'Potter' Characters Die in Final Book
Make no mistake: J.K. Rowling can - and will - kill. Even maim and murder, if she feels like it.
The single mother (her personal fortune is $1 billion) revealed on Monday that in the last Harry Potter novel, she will do in at least two of the characters.
Rowling, 40, who wrote The Final Chapter long ago, said: "One character got a reprieve, but I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die."
(Didn't intend? Who's got authorial charge here? Is Rowling merely the organ - the lyre - played upon by an Unseen Other Author?)
"I've never been tempted to kill (Harry) off before the end of Book Seven," J.K. said rather macabrely.
