Wasn't this heavily suggested in the last movie that came out?

I thought so, but I haven't read the books - so I am not sure what has happened since then...

Finally...

Tom Riddle and Harry can't die at the same time, the prophecy would not be true then.

Rowling already said she isn't going to kill off the main 3.

The way I see it, it has to be between Snape, Voldemort, or a Malfoy.

Snape killed Dumbledore. He has one coming to him. Unless this was all part of Dumbleydores plan...

Hear me out.

Snape is refered to by Dumbledore as "The most accomplished Occulamense alive". Don't know if I spelled that right. He can hide his thoughts, real well. Now we know he made the unbreakable bond, as that was the only way to get LaStrange to trust him. Perhaps dumbledore knew his life was coming to an end and he "Sacraficed" jimself to keep Snape as a spy for the other side.

Keep in mind, after Dumbledore poisoned himself with the water, all he could say was "take me to snape." Harry offered to go get proffesor sprout, dumbledore said "No, I need Severas". He wanted to meet with Snape that night.

This whole conspiracy would work real well because Voldemort is supposedly the most accomplished "legolamense" (don't know how to spell that one either) he can read peoples minds. Real well. He may feel that he can read anyones mind no matter what. But Snape... He's a shifty one.

Malfoy... Lucious is slime, a lost cause. Draco semed reluctant to kill Dumbledore and likely would not have finished had it not been for snape. He has reluctance in him. I can't begin to guess where that one is going, but dumbledores last words got to Draco.

Voldemort will die. End of story.

If a good guy dies, I expect it to be neville or Luna.

If she wants this series to end with her, and be done for good, Harry won't come out of the last book as we know it. Either he will be dead, or maimed.

I think/hope all these books prior that build hate for Snape, are recompensed in this last book. I'm desperately hoping that Snape does something that repays the reader for all the spite he causes.

I dunno, my brother is the huge HP fan fiction site fanatic. I'd rather not delve into hundreds of websites with thousands of chapters from amateur writers for any good ideas to post here.

The question is who do we want to see killed the most? I haven't read a Harry Potter book in almost 4 years I think, and lost all interest in the books.

Either Snape or Potter die, but not both. They hate each other so much and are like night and day, so one must live so the other realizes they are friends and not enemies. My guess is one of them is guaranteed to survive (Snape >.> ).

I think they'll probably take Harry and Lord Voldemort at the same time - like a battle to the deaths...

I think the Harry Potter/Lord Voldemort battle to the death is just too cliche. The books all seem to have common factors that lead to final conclusions. Something that should lead the reader to some specific outcome, but was so trivial and unexpected when you read it, you don't pick up on it till it actually happens. My bet is Harry dies and Voldemort lives. Dumbledore always said there are worse things than dieing and for Voldemort, it's being a muggle.

Edit: When does the last book actually get released?

yah, I read that one too... was thinking of postign it but eventually didn't.

My guess is Hermione, Ron and Harry ;P

Maybe Nevile and the professor... dunno though

To Trippy, I think the ending of the most recent book implies that Snape didn't actually want to go through with the killing of Dumbledore (that is to say if he's really dead, which he might not be). My guess is that Snape did it either 1) to keep Draco from being "tainted" by having killed someone or 2) to do so in a way to where it only looks like he's really dead.

The first option seems most likely though. As Harry is chasing Snape after the death scene, the whole "DON'T CALL ME COWARD!" thing makes it sound like he just did something that took an extreme amount of courage that he didn't agree with, ie killing Dumbledore. Everything just seems to imply that Snape's "murdering" of Dumbledore is a cover so he can remain close to Voldemort.

After I finished the latest book I decided to go look up theories on what could have happened. I found one that I've stuck with and thought was a good one. Dumbledore died to replace the spell/charm that Harry's mother put on him when she died, the one that saved his life. The circumstances are similar, Harry is helpless due to the spell making him immobile and so, Dumbledore sacrifices himself for Harry. I think Snape did not wish to kill Dumbledore because he seemed reluctant, and Dumbledore begged him to: "Snape, please!" Dumbledore is not one to beg for his life, thus I think he begged for him to help replace the charm/spell.

So, Harry is still mad at Snape and so he might try to kill him, and then he'll learn later that Snape was innocent and be all like "Dammit." And then the story will end on that line.
