Since no one else will make it i will.

THE NAME SAYS IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!

In case you cant comprehend: If you have not finished the book STAY OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i wanna start off my saying this book is one of the best finishes i've read in awhile. and dumbldore HAD to have been able to see the future. he seemed to know how the end was gonna play out from book 1.

i had a feeling snape's reason for betraying voldemort revolved around lilly. i didnt expect them to have grown up together though. my guess was some hidden passion or something along those lines. and i knew i was right about Big D ordering snape to kill him in 6. im also glad harry found out VIA the penseve and not from snape telling him. harry would not have bought it in that manner.

and in mentionong dumbldore. his shady past, IMO, made him all the more a hero. he always looked to the good in people and gave them a chance reguardless of their upbringing or past. his own less then perfect pass taught him a good amount of humility and what greed for power can do to people.

on the subject everyone wants to know about, who died, Tonks' death hit me the hardest. she was one of the kewlest characters in the books to me. and a few deathmatches i was hopping for. i though it would have been the greatest justice if nevile finished off bellatrix instead of Mrs. Weasley. im not complaining though. the bitch, as molly so loveingly called her, deserved to die. but nevile's life had been torn asunder by her and i was itching to see him take her out. once sirius died i had a feeling remus was gonna be dead by the end of the last book so his was no surprise. but dobey's and fred's was a clear shocker. dobey's was noble but fred's was just tragic. but im ghlad at least percy made good with him before it happened. thos whole family was united again one last time.

enough of my wall of text. i wanna hear oppinions from others.

I was sad one of the Weasley twins died. I loved those two. :(

Not only was Harry "The Boy Who Lived", he was "The Boy Who Lived Twice".

And Molly Weasley kicked ass against Bellatrix. Haha.

I started this early yesterday on my day off and was completely flustered all day at work today as I had 100 pages to go before the end and could simply not get my mind off of it. I was so distraught over it being the final book, as I'd been with it ever since 1998 (like many) and almost didn't want it to end. But I must say, it was not disappointing what so ever. I loved how it ended, how everything fell so incredibly into place, and that my theory of Snape being loyal to Dumbledore all along proved true.

I, admittedly, cried throughout the entire chapter where Harry was reveiled to be the seventh part of Voldermort's soul and what he had to do. And I found myself thinking of Dumbledore (albiet for a short period of time) as so sinister and cruel when he told Snape what Harry's purpose was that I lost all respect for him until the meeting at Kings Cross.

Honestly out of all of the deaths, Hedwig's hit me the hardest until Lupin and Tonks died. I found the twins incredible and one of them dying was simply awful, yet the poor owl just made me bawl. Mrs. Weasley's part in the end was greatly written and humorous to boot. And I don't know about anyone else, but an army of house elves with Kreacher in the lead chopping at ankles with butcher knives just struck me as pure hilarity.

Out of a summer of trilogy's movie wise, that were rather a let down, I must say I think the seventh and final book of Harry Potter was the best. Whether that is because it was finally a book of closure and triumph or how well it all finally fell into place taking in every detail from all six books previous, I care not. I'm just so happy that it gave the utmost satisfaction to a large following of 'Potterwatcher's'.

Edit: I secluded myself and read it so quickly after the sixth book was so horribly ruined for my by a moron-who-wont-be-named screaming in Jeuno "SNAPE KILLED DUMBLEDORE" a day after it was released.

Was I the only one who was really annoyed at Lupin and Tonks' death? They were both off screen, I would've found it a bit more emotional if they had died in the pages of the book. Personally the the 2 saddest deaths for me were Hedwig and Dobby, go figure.

Definately the best book of the series. It had its up and its downs. The action just didn't stop. We all knew one of the Weasleys had to die. I personally was expecting Percy to die before he was able to make up with the family. I knew the four Marauders would all end up dead in the end. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that Tom Riddle who hated being called that didn't attack Harry once in the final battle through all the talking Harry did. Also with all the leading up to the final book and J.K. hinting at a fate worse then death; I was expecting Voldemort to experience a fate worse then death.

I really wish the ending to the book said more about everyone. Like what did Harry decide to do for a job? Did they all graduate Hogwarts? With Kinsley Minister of Magic I am sure Harry finally has some trust in the Ministry. What became of Petunia, Vernon, and Dudley? Did Harry ever see them again?

It was a very good book and I enjoyed it throughout. There were some slower moments but it wasn't hard to get through the slower parts with some of the back story leading up to them. It did answer alot of questions but I do wish the ending had been a bit longer in regards to wrapping everyone up.

I was shocked and saddened by the deaths of Hedwig and Dobby also. The people involved in the fight you would expect death of some of the loved characters. I didn't enjoy seeing Fred, Lupin (although kinda expected him since the other Maruders were dead, except Wormtail but he owed Harry a life debt) Tonks or Mad Eye die, but the scene with Dobby and Harry digging the grave got to me more then the scenes with the other deaths.

What do you mean "except Wormtail"? Wormtail died also

Yea but neither Lupin nor Wormtail died before book 7. Wormtail owed a life debt to Harry so I knew he would die in book 7. Knowing Wormtail was most likely to be on the dead list I assumed Lupin would be also since the others had already died James and Sirius.

Mmm, ok. I thought you missed the part where his own hand killed him xD

Mrs. Weasley's "Sigourney Weaver moment" was pure awesome.

Afriggingmen. I nearly fell out of my chair, so stunned was I by the pure amount of win in her battle cry. I fucking hated Bellatrix (as I was soapy in the brain for Sirius), and I almost wanted Neville to take care of the family business with her.

Speaking of... NEVILLE. Jesus >.> talk about a due moment. Leader of the Resistance! Damn the man! *puts her fist in the air*

I too, would have appreciated a little more elaboration on the last remaining member of the Mauraders. Though, knowing Lupin, I'm sure his passing was nothing but honorable. Though a werewolf vs. werewolf showdown between he and Greyback would have been epic amounts of awesome.

Some have said that Voldemort seemed a little 'stupid' in this book. I just think that all his serious flaws (lack of remorse, unable to see the entire picture and only what he wanted) are what finally caught up to him. Not to mention Harry grew an immense pair and faced him like the man he is.

The round-and-round monologue, completely destroying Voldemorts sense of entitlement and triumph? Perfect.

I would say Voldemort was a lot like Dumbledore. They were both very smart and great wizards. They both wanted a way to cheat death. As wise as they both were they both made very big mistakes in there search for cheating death which ended up in there ultimate demise. The difference being Dumbledore showed remorse for any and all wrong doing he had done in his life.

Yea I didn't see it so much like Voldermort was 'stupid' either. I just seen the last battle as he wanted to know where he went wrong in underestimating Harry. I do wish the battle was a bit more though and that he would have experienced 'something more than death'.

A showdown of Fenrir vs. Lupin would have been bitchin - I really really am quite astounded she didn't go into that. Maybe she wanted the end action to be slow, it is kinda what Voldemort deserved. Even still, if Mrs. Weasley got her chance to shine, it only was fair to let Lupin have his. (Can we hope the movie will latch onto this?)

The epilogue was really cool on one hand, completely shitty on another. Cliched and predictable that Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione paired off like that, but I can't bitch too much because it was so totally cute.
It would have been better to see what happened to the Ministry, including Umbridge, all the Death Eaters, the Dursleys, Hogwarts, and George. Poor George. I just know he's sitting in the Hog's Head drinking his sorrows away after losing his other half.

Needs more sex scenes between Harry + Ginny and Hermione + Ron.

I wouldn't mind Luna either.
