Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has heard of the player Lululn.

I see her all the time when i pass through Quifm at lvl 40somthing soloing Crabs as a whm.

IDK something strikes me as wrong/sad that a whm would have to solo crabs as a whm. Another thing that strikes me as weird/sad is that she has a LS and its name is Lululn. She has a LS named after herself.

Anyone know what the deal is? Is she a gilseller? Cause i dont see the point for a gilseller to solo stuff in quifm as a whm.

I have seen her many times. she from what i have seen has soloed WHM all the way. Has never been in a party and started in quifm at around 32 or so, Maybe even sooner. My RL wife has made friends with her over the past few months just saying hi and what not. But all in all I think she just likes to play to have fun.

She may or may not be in it for fun...best way to find out is to just ask, unless you wanna just watch her work and stuff (....)

Though, if I can just say, I'm pretty sure Crabs would con too weak at 40..if anything, they'd be 12xp EPs, which no one could effectively exp on unless they like 400xp/hour (and that'd be if they took about 1.5mins per crab with no downtime, which a WHM probably won't be pulling off..)

Yeah but haveing a LS with your name as a whm soloing in quifm (constantly mind you), it doesnt ecactly scream "Talk to me". I dont want to be responded to with the generic {Sorry, I dont speak English}, or just "go away".

When I see a name like Lululn I think "ok maybe they are chinese, and i wont get a response in English". Yeah I know it might be considered as racist or whatever, but i dont know a whole lot of English players that would take a whm and solo them... in Quifm of all places. Not saying its a "Chinese thing" to do things that are considered "odd or strange" but i remember seeing alot of DRG and WHM duos always going into Delfukts Tower constantly that end up being Chinese gil sellers so maybe she was leveling up for that IDK.

BTW ya know whats also cool? Answering the origional question without any sass^^. How many threads are in the flameboard asking what a players deal is cause they did something bad or wrong? Cant they just ask the player straight up? I just wanted to ask the community cause i think it would be easier then asking her directly since I cant log onto POL or the game cause Verizion is acting up with POL exclusivly. I know i could just send her a /t but it doesnt exactly look like she is the kind person who likes to talk alot. I mean shes a whm post lvl 10 thats soloing... constantly.

Some people just like the challenge of soloing too (and not necessarily as a BST)... There was a RDM on Vault early on that was in his low 30s just by soloing, and even at 75 I can solo 1-1.5k an hour as a RDM..... It's not quick, but it's a challenge...

She's probably just soloing for skillups. Just like previously mentioned, there is no way she's getting exp from crabs at that lvl.

Another possibility is she's really nice and making herself available if anyone needs help, i.e. raise, killing elemental spawns, etc.

You really shouldn't jump to conclusions, she is probably really nice and trying to pass some time :wink:

even though if he/she dont speak english you would never know this unless you /tell him/her. and most chinese and japanese know a little english

Yeah thats exactly what i mean. It just strikes me as odd that someone would do this for months on end.

And Farming? What does a crab in Quifm give you that you cant get by farming something easier that gives you more gil and just buy the item?

And skillups? Yeah if it was a random passing by i could say "ok someone lvling their Hammer Skills" but this happens EVERY time i go though Quifm.

I was levelling up THF at Konschat Highlands where the worms and gobs are, towards the southwest of the map, I saw her there too. And yes, she's killing the higher tier gobs (butcher/tinkerer/ambusher) as a WHM. I think I tried to talk to her but she spoke back in Japanese.

Yes I've seen Lululn.. she is single-handedly keeping the grain seed price in Bastok down. I think she missed the memo that sushi has driven up rice price which has driven up grain seed prices.

Unfortunately I have never been able to buy any cheap ones, they are always sold out.

Shes exping, she took warrior to 40's the same way a few months back.
