I met Harmoney on this game back when I was a little itty bitty RDM and she was a little WHM. Now, we've been together for almost 9 months! She's beautiful, nice and all that jazz, she's great. I just got back from seeing her for the weekend... these things CAN work out, you just have to be careful in how you approach it and all that. Glad to hear it worked out for you too!
 
I'm glad to hear things went well. My husband and I didn't meet in a game...but we did meet online...in a yahoo chat room..lol We've been married a little over 3 years now...so internet relationships CAN work out!
 
Okay, here's one for ya. True story, I swear.

My baby brother, Jimmy was married to Scarlet. Wasn't a marriage made it heaven to say the least. They constantly argued. Well they got a computer. Jimmy met Karey. Scarlet met whatever his name is (sorry I forgot).

Jimmy and Scarlet get divorced. Jimmy marries Karey. Scarlet marries her guy from online. Jimmy & Karey and Scarlet & her guy are matches made in heaven. Both are very very happy to this day. They've each been married to the people they met online about 3? years now I believe.

Go figure.

PS. Although it looks like a damn Jerry Springer show, all 4 of them are professional business people. They aren't losers, honest.

As long as both people go into it with realistic expectations and are honest with each other it'll work.. if not it will end with tremendous heartache. :cry:
 
lol good to see alot of people actually supported me :D thx again guys and i got a 5 day weekend coming up so i think i may go see her >< if i can that is i hope too :P

My husband (Silvann) and I met through a game as well (for curious types it was a Halflife mod called TFC). We've been together for 5 years now and we have a 2 year old daughter together. Meeting each other was the best thing that ever happened to us. He's the love of my life. :D

So, yes, you can meet the right person through a game. Love is love and I kind of think that the unique thing about meeting that person online is that you get the opportunity to fall in love with the most important aspect of a person--their mind--the very root of who they are. Everything else is really just trivial in comparison, isn't it?

of course i have fallin in love with all of her, and especially her mind(personallity) omg she's wonderfull so nice to everyone(cept when they mean to her >_> lol) she helps people she lovess FF and she loves me (*^_^*) w00t i'm really the luckiest damn man alive O_O :shock:

Hee hee, sounds very good. :D Another plus about it is that if you guys get together, you can brag to your male friends about how your lady is a gamer. We don't necessarily complain when our men are gaming too much. We complain when our men aren't gaming with us enough! :lol:

Congratulations man.

I've got the exact same story to tell. But I'll spare you the details. The relationship is continuing to this day. She's beautiful, careing, a gamer, and such a nice person. We're in love. I'm so lucky.

Bit of thread necromancy i see has gone on but ill just say im planning on meeting someone ive met ingame in about october time this year, gotta travel over from england to america to do it, so that'll be fun. :wink: I hope she makes it worth my while
 
my BF (Zaltana) and I met on a messageboard 3 years ago and I moved all the way across the country to live with him ^^
