Haste Samba...?

How exactly does Haste Samba work? I haven't quite figured it out.
 
My understanding is it is delay reduction, NOT haste. It doesn't effect spell recast timers, and does reduce tp/hit, keeping tp gain relatively the same. Personally I like the Drain Sambas better overall.

Edit: the reduction is -5%
 
There's a thread somewhere on BG discussing this. You might want to check there. It had some good info.
 
It's JA Haste similar to Hasso and falls under its 25% cap. It does not affect recast and last I checked it did not effect TP gain either. 5% Haste, 10% fully meritted. I haven't done any rigorous testing, but from my experience the effect lasts one attack round and so is highly dependent on accuracy.
 
well if you are a tarutaru and have high based dex and accuracy already i have realized with my dancer 75 with rapparee + anwig +4% + Suppanomimi + swift belt + saber dance and haste samba merited to +7% on i can gain about 450 tp per haste samba which is during a minute and 30 seconds. yes haste samba only effects delay on attacks, but with the proper set up you can basically do 4 hits in a row around 3-4 times or 16 hits in the matter of seconds. i will post more info as i test more ways it can be used.
