Well i know im gonna get a lot of bad feelings, but sadly, I think im out. I put so much time into this game that I jeaporidize my school and personal life. I had a nice long run but I think that its time to bow out. I hope none of my good friends in game feel abandoned by my actions, but there is so much more out there that I still want to do. Faedryth, while I'm going to miss you ingame, I know you'll be okay without this "time sink" (as Sculli put it). You're a nice, intelligent, and all around good person and if these traits haven't gotten you much in life yet I'm sure they soon will! Take care man and keep in touch! Lol ok changed my mind again. No I really want to go now. Just had a fun convo with a friend of my fiance's. Apparently she/he is really a guy and has just been trying to suck money outta me. Ive only spent like 15k but i mean the lying and stuff is what really ruins it for me. Just dont feel like dealing with that kinda stuff. Even went so far as to say that "got into a car wreck on my birthday" which was also a lie. That is just disgusting to me. Shoulda went with my original plan....sorry Mithy lol...

I owe Eni alot of gil (Which I plan to pay back soon... I promise!!), but at the same time, Shenhua owes me alot of Gil for all the junk I bought for her.
But still, my point is... If you wanna quit FFXI, that's cool. I just don't think that this should be a reason that you should quit.
But yeah, if you're gonna quit. Go out with a bang. That's what I'd do.
Do the biggest possible publicity stunt you can THINK of... Like... Go to a map like Crawlers' Nest or Quicksand Caves or something... and train EVERY LAST MONSTER in there, just like I did that one time in Palborough Mines... (I trained roughly 300+ Quadavs... There were so many that I was lagging to hell.. I wasn't even being chased by Quadavs anymore... The train was so thick, it looked like a long Brown & Red Centipede was chasing me, smacking me with swords, and spamming me with white and black magic.) Go out with a bang if you're gonna go. LOL

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Abusive players ruin it for all of us. I have had quite a few almost run me off. The types that think they are "GOD" in the game and we should all fall down before them. Or the ones that leech and try anything to scam you of your time or gill. These type of people make me sick.
Just hold onto your equipment and do not delete your character. In case you change your mind. I thought I was going to quit as well and sold all of my equipment almost and then realized I should not let the rude people in the game win by running me off.
