HAVE YOU NO HUMILITY?

I don't see why everyone gets all annoyed by the picture in people's sig. Its usually a picture of their character in armor that they hope and aspire to gain. Granted, some people put in goals that are near impossible to obtain or even plain odd, but that is their dream. That is why they are playing and probably a majority will never achieve their dream, but thats what makes them play. So they can achieve that goal. Who are you to make fun of someone else's dream?

Actually, when I was the one still making my sigs I did put a disclaimer on mine: "No, I can't actually wear any of the armor in my sig. But I designed it to look cool, not be realistic. So stfu about it."

A friend made my current one in which all he took was my Head, Hands, and Body recommendations. I believe the head piece is unknown in the model viewer, and I actually plan on getting that body and hands when I reach the level I can wear it. The legs and feet are the relic pieces, which I may actually end up getting someday. And that looks to be quite a plain old great axe, not the fully upgraded Relic.

I really don't know why it bothers everyone so much that people like to make their characters look as aesthetic as possible. SE put a lot of beautiful armor in the game, but most of it is so hard to come by that the only place you can really get a good look at it is in the model viewer or in other people's sigs.

I just wanted to jump in and see if anyone hated my sig for some reason...I mean it is nothing more than a screenshot of my old character that I inverted and added some words...
 
While we're on the topic of signatures, who the heck do I talk to about getting some of those really awesome ones? lol

Or those of ones that have nothing to do with FFXI? heheh there's more to life then FFXI 8)
 
To be honest My I look exactly like i do in my Sig with both my Caracters ^^ and when i get my Adaman Gear i will update my Sig to Claudherts Sig Version 4 and by then ill make it super pimptacular with my developing Microsoft Picture It! skills

And thats me. Except I usually wear a Black Cotie, but that looks crap. So I use AF Jacket instead... But soon I'll use an errant hpl. Because they're hawt too.

I have always wondered the same thing... Half the people here and elsewhere have sigs of them in gear that they will never actualy get.
 
lol yeah quite funny indeed. We need some ppl with those kinda sigs to explain themselves!
