In regards towards the original question, dosn't PS3 work with any standard Bluetooth head sets ? The same ones used for cell phones.

I just wasn't sure if you could use a headset at all. Maybe I'll look into a bluetooth one. Is there an official Playstation one yet?

Any USB headset should work I believe, but that is if you want to have a wired one. I know GameStop sells one made by Logitech, almost like the one they made for Socom for PS2, but nicer.

i have played resistance and fight night succesfully with a bluetooth and headset. the one game i have not been able to chat on is mlb2k7 which baffles me since it is a ps3 release and should. oh, on resistance just hit L3 in and speak while in multiplayer. fnr3 is auto.

Yea. I love resistance but I'm not getting a third party wireless headset. Sony one ftw; btw... Buy more sony stuff. I have stock in it now
I use a plantronics bluetooth headset, which I got for my cellphone and don't use on my cell. Works great. This $15 usb headset I got from bestbuy sucks though. It reads when I'm in the accessory bar but when I go into the game I don't hear anything.
