Hellboy II

saw it last night at a sneak preview. Very decent flick. Not quite up there with the hulk and ironman, but definitely worth seeing at least once. Its got some great humor parts and the fights are well done.

just remember to remain fuc'used at all times when you're watching it.

I liked it, alot more action than the first and I think it was longer too. If you liked the first one you'll like this one too.

I thought it was good entertainment, very funny at times. I found the end to be sorta cheese though.

The Prince bares a striking resemblance to the Tom Cruise Lestat. He was bad ass.

I enjoyed it. Not as heavy with the neat storytelling themes as the first, but still pretty solid entertainment just the same. Also teaches an important lesson: elves can be major pains in the ass.

Honestly, I thought this movie was pretty weak. I really enjoyed the character designs, costumes, and fight choreography, but I thought the overall story was lame.

That character was freaking amazing! Probably the best costume I have ever seen.

But yeah, overall I was pretty disappointed with this movie. I didn't laugh at any of the parts that everyone else in the theater laughed at. Maybe it was just me.

I will say that the fight scenes were really good. The Prince did some really sweet moves with his extendable dagger/spear that I was really impressed with.

I kinda thought they dragged the whole "Can't Smile Without You" scene a bit too long, but oh well.

As much as I love Hellboy, and as much as it hurts me to say this, I thought it was terrible. Honestly it takes a lot for me to feel that way about something, but I really am still in shock of the lack of awesome this movie had. Even if someone told me before hand it was bad, I'd still see it, and i'd also still recommend people to see it at least once, but don't expect too much from it.

I guess I missed the subliminal message everyone else saw. makes me a sad panda.

It's based off a comic, I hope you guys realize this? It's supposed to be very cheesy, thats the way the comic is. This movie is right on with the comic. Pretty damn good.
