i am annoyed by the fact that everytime you want to say Hello! in auto-translate, Helldive pops up now.

it was bad when head would pop up every once in awhile, but now Helldive? ahhhh!

Also, how but spelling Hello then Tab, instead of Hel, then Tab, then enter >.>;
 
I was wondering when someone would flame this. It's really not a big deal, and a lot of people have had to get used to it from Hellfire+1s.
 
Fuck those god damn BUMs and fuck them screwing up my autotranslate abuse, the whole lot of the bastards should be banned as far as I am concerned.
 
the reeason i use auto-translate function is to type words quickly. i would type hel then TAB. typing out Hello defeats the purpose of that lol.

and you can avoid the Hellfire +1s and what not easily. you cant avoid this Helldive thing : [
 
No matter how fast you type, blue mage just cost FFXI players hundreds of hours of collective time a year in extra effort to greet people.

They need un-nerfed already.
 
you type fast in the middle of lower jeuno AH lag. that is another reason and i am sure someone will create a counter argument for that. :P

5 key strokes either way. You weren't saving any time, you just wanted to have colored blocks around it. Sure, you have to type one more letter when you need it translated, but the majority of (|Hello!|) use is just for greeting other NAs we hang around. I see it enough in ls chat.
 
true. i never actually put any thought into it. 1 key stroke difference. ok i am done with this thread.

Technically since I am not personally racist and do not exclude Japanese and the French from communication, it is 5 versus 7 strikes.

Wow.. I can't blieve this is even being discussed... If you have a problem with typing "hi", "Hello", or "Hey", or "Heya".. you sir have a problem.

Heh, I am not the one flaming Auto-translate over one second it would take to select {Hello!}, and just so you know I usually don't... I usually -TYPE- hi or hey, because its actually quicker.
