Yeah, I've already said hi...way back in March, which was the only post I've made. It was also about when I started phasing FFXI out. A good bit of that came from my roommate, who also played this game. I shan't go over details, but I kinda guilted myself thinking I was vindicating his behavior while playing this myself. The situation has since been resolved, and I have found new life in the game. I never really quit, but I did bare minimum upkeep for four months before getting back into the game.
I'm currently working on monk, which I've been working on since last December. Eventually, I'll get it past 50. I'm a member of Arcane Garden, which has been a part of my life in the game since I first plugged the game into my 360 a year ago. I'm hoping to get more involved with the Quetz community this time around and raise my job up enough so I can somehow take a more active role in my LS. I've lurked the forums for a bit, and I've seen a good number of you whilst I wandered around the world looking for new and inventive ways to die. With my lurking has come intimidation. I'm not sure where I can fit into this kind of community, but I'm sure there's a niche I can fill somewhere.
Oh, and if you're wondering about my name, it's a bastardization of Nevic. When I started play, I was using a standard TV. Well, the little "I" and the little "L" look very similar on that kind of display. It wasn't until three weeks later when it was pointed out to me that what I thought was "Nevic" turned out to actually be "Nevlc". I wasn't about to invalidate three weeks of work on my character. The name has since grown on me. The difference is quite obvious from my gaming monitor, which I now use for my 360.
