Hello all..

well, for those who know me i do believe ill be returning to FFXI within the next week or two, if my account is still active.. if its not however i dont think ill spend the 4 years i previously did rebuilding my character.. but i really do so hope my account is still active.. anywho.. its been a long time and there have been many changes in the game so i need someone to sum up the changes to samurai and ninja over the last 6 months.. break it down for me i dont really want to read an essay on "The Changes to Samurai and Ninja in the Last 6 Months, by somesmartass" greatly appreciated.. lol

for those of you who dont know me, hi im nibble, i played for the 4 years after ffxi came out.. i enjoyed it, loved it.. just drifted away because of real life stuff that no one really wishes to read about.. so i wont bore you here.. anyhow, im nice, fun, enjoy making jokes and having fun..

i guess i should head to bed now since i have to be at work in 5 hours..

Knowing you as well as I do, i believe Dancer will be the new class you'll be happy to play.

unfortunantly my ps2's cd drive died like, oh so long ago lol.. so i dont think i can get the wings of the goddess expansion anytime soon.. unless i can hook up my HDD to another ps2 and install it on there.. but i dunno if i can, anyone have any idea if that works? o.0

if you can find a model compadible with the HDD's you can put your current HDD in the new one, i dont know if they sell those models anymore in stores, they mostly have the crappy slim ps2 model, i heard they dont sell the ps2 compadible ps3's anymore either ><; so your options are the aforementioned, or spring for a new pc, i dk if you wanna go that far to come back to the game but its worth upgrading your system if your due for one =p

Most electronic repair shops can fix it, 100 bucks. That's what I did, some game stores (gamestop) still sell used/refurbished Fat ps2s, again 100 bucks. I did that too, you need to make sure you have the CD that will erase everything on your harddrive, that should have been in the original ff11 box, i found it in there after collecting so much dust under my bed.

In other words, you Can NOT install on another ps2 then switch back to the first, i tried, it won't accept it.

After you erased everything on your hardrive you can place it onto your new/used ps2 and start reinstalling. So make sure all your CDs are in top condition and make sure you still have all your codes and passwords. If your missing anything I might suggest going with the first plan.

Most electronic repair stores will have very little problem fixing your system, it took them 2-3 days to do it and did a wonderful job on mine. They fix'd and replaced every little thing and worked great for a good year.

Those are the only 2 ways I know to keep a ps2 without spending a vast amount of money. I do hope you find this useful.
