Hello all!
I'm a looong lost player who has returned to check out the new expansion and relight my previous love of FFXI. I was one of the original US subscribers but left after relocating to a new state. That was back in July 2004, so you can probably imagine how completely stunned I am over how much has changed. To say I'm lost would be an understatement! LOL
My former LS has long since disbanded and no one I know from my previous Friends list still plays. So if anyone has any suggestions on how to get started again, it'd be appreciated!
My "main" character is a lvl 37 Hume Bard named Valen, but I'm far too intimidated to even try to run with a pick-up group that level now. I can hardly remember which songs have which effects let alone to deal with group dynamics right now!
So I made a new character, a Mithra White Mage named Kaitwyn, to attempt to start over and relearn my way back into the game.
Anyway, I've rambled on long enough. It's great to be back in sweet Vana'diel!
