Quick question, i looked EVERYWHERE and couldn't really find a good fishing guide. I check alla, killing, some, everywhere. Nothing. IF anyone knows any good links, can u send them to me? thanks

Titanictus is a great forum where FFXI's angler's talk shop and share their knowledge. It also has several guides and FAQs.

The best is Akirus' Post-Update Fishing Guide 0-100. He put a lot of work into it.

there was 1 that threw in the whole moat carp catching in the 1-100 guide, so you catch it while lvling, and by the time you need lu shang's rod, you would already have it, or be close to it. wish i could find that guide though :/
