Help: Altepa camps?

I have never PTed in Altepa but am most likely going to do so this weekend. I have never been there before but I have printed out some maps and I know the general layout. But my question is, what are some good camp sites?

30s most XP on beetles at the entrance to WAD, east of the altep crystal.

40s usually hit Quicksands or the center rock formation in WAD.
 
There are good camps, but GO TO ALTEP WITH A PARTY ALREADY FORMED!!!!!

There is hardly EVER anyone "searching" for a party there, I have spent many a frustrating hour yelling "Sexy RDM waiting for party" (which usually gets invites right away) and nothing. :(

The map is 3k in Rabao. I believe that the way to rabao (this is off of the top of my head so someone please correct me if Im wrong.) is to hug the wall and go north once you leave korroloka, and you will come to another tunnel. Once you zone from this tunnel, go straight and a little to the left and you will find a tunnel that serves as the entrance to Rabao. Only sneak is needed on your trip as long as you keep a wide berth of the cactaurs. Once you get a map, go back to the first desert. The crystal is located in the little Z - like shaped thing on the map, due west of where you zone to the 2nd desert. Almost every Altep party Ive been in is formed in Jeuno and we tele-altep from there, so the crystal is important. Altep parties for me are soooo much more fun than CN and GC parties.
 
LOL...i couldn't give directions...but i've been there! Got bored one night after trying to get some leveling in and decided to find the Altep Crystal....drug Jender along with me...no map...it was fun...lol We did get the crystal then later I made my way to Rabao (again...no map whatsoever). I did however buy a map while there so it'll be much easier next time...lol

It's always fun partying w/ my girl Kiere :twisted: I think that was the only time I had actually accomplished something there without a map. We're a good team ;)
