Hello all, It has been 10 months of off time and I know that the game has changed much in that time. I am in need of information as too weather or not it is possible to duo as any thing other than BST now or is the game still party dependant? My wife and I are coming back tonight and would really like some information as to what we can expect. We got BST to 49 but that was a drag. Wondered if there are other job and job combos that are doable now?

Yes we are coming back but somehow all my characters got deleted and i have to see if they can restore. I do want to come back in to quetz i currently have a request for a worl pass. I also have no money or anything on my characters.

In terms of efficiency when it comes to survivability, the XP you bring in and relative lack of downtime, BST would still be your best bet, though DRGs can do it as well, to a lesser extent. Most of the jobs in this game will always be party dependent if they want to see signifant numbers.

I've heard a lot of various combinations for duo's though I don't really have all the details as to what subjobs they've used, and what the xp was like in comparison to your typical 6 member party. I've heard of RDM and SMN duo's, i've heard of a lot of different duo's that include BLU, as well as PUP... so I think its safe to say that yes you can probably duo a different job that isn't BST, but it might not compare. Wish I had paid attention to the setups to give you more info >_<
