It said something about like, it not being able to do so cause you just can't, or did like nothing happen?

If it gave you a warning, and didn't let you do it, i really don't know, i would suggest the admin thing, but since your admin i really don't know aside from checking your DOS settings.

If nothing happened, then you probably have the path wrong...

it said something about binary again lol I don't care though, as I said my game works, I am just bored so I thought I'd give it a shot. The .reg method didn't work either, and i posted the exact message that one gave me.
 
I kept getting that Binary thingy too. I kept retyping shit to make sure I didn't fuck up but I still get it. <_<
 
Hopefully this Monday but knowing my current luck I'll be stuck here longer -.-

I did another file check and it turns out 400 files were fucked up. Going through a update now, hopefully I'll be playing tomorrow or by sat. I need something to do to keep me from killing someone here to cure boredom. <_<

and seriously, I can't move unless i fix my controls and I don't know how to bring up my menu to fix that <_<
 
the one thing that always scared me away from laptops is the lack of a numberpad. not having that - key would kill me. i've never played FFXI on a laptop so i have no idea where the key for the menu is.

have you tried "right clicking" the buttons under the mouse square, or whatever its called.
 
Figured it out. Stupid keyboards and their one button which is also 3 buttons <_<

There are some laptops (like mine) that have a full keyboard, and I use a mouse and controller while playing. D:
 
UAC= user account control... its that thing that pops up making you confirm every program you want to open, sursly a pain in the arse. Anyway, its located in the User Accounts section.
