Hiiii, i just got a new laptop, so i can play FF again. The laptop is a Acer Aspire 9410:
Intel Core Duo precessor T2450
2.0GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache
Up to 400MB NVIDIA GeForece Go 7300 Turbocache
160 GB HDD
2 GB DDR2
Windows VISTA >_<
Anyways, i put in the install disc and go through the steps.
It goes right until PoL is on desktop, then the book says it's supposed have another screen come up saying run, but it doesn't.
It just stops, and when i try to open PoL i get:
Error Code: 20008003 (Playonline viewer can not run on operating system.)

Can anyone help me out with this? stupid SE has had me on hold for like 40 minutes.

Download the Vista POL client from the POL website.

Also you might want to make sure you run POL as an Administrator.

Save yourself some headache and dual boot .

Better yet just get XP and delete Vista

Nothing wrong with vista, just not all that great compared to Xp-pro.
