My sister is graduating on wednesday and i have nooooo idea what to get her >_>;; Money is no issue, and no i'm not buying her a car, but i want to get her something nice from her big brother you know? She's preppy, smart, etc etc. Any ideas? <_< I was thinking maybe a gold necklace that said sister on it but idk!

Does she already have an mp3 player? That seems like a very graduate-y gift.
 
Is she a gamer? Get her a Ps3 or Psp.

Is she a book worm? Get her some kind of 200 dollar book.(Medical, Time travel, or something)

Does she love to work out? Get her a treadmill or a weight set?

Is she fat? Get her a 100 dollar Mcdonald gift card.
 
What's she studying?
 
I like Duns idea, but that could be taken in a number of different ways that might not be appropriate. If you want to get her a necklace of some kind that'd be nice, though a locket or something sparkly is usually the best way to go. And Myrrh had some good ideas, so stick with something thoughtful that she'll like. But calling her fat would not make a very good present. >_>
 
Everyone has an iPod or Zune. Not everyone has a laptop.

Graduating from highschool - Consider laptop.
Graduating from College - Jewelry is a safe choice.

Other things to consider:
Digital Camera
Gift Card to something like The Gap.


You could always consider practical gifts if necessary - like a refrige if she is getting an apt w/out one.

An I-Pod is really nice. You could get her a pretty decently cheap laptop for college if money isn't an object (I suggest those cool tablet PC's Gateway sells).
 
She has a laptop, and an ipod >_> and no shes not fat shes quite skinny.
Shes going into pharmacy (sp)
 
Nothing says you love your sister more then some hard core porn.

Or when all else fails give her a 1000 dollars. That way she can get what she wants and it's not something stupid like a gift card.(I hate gift cards, they are the dumbest idea ever)

A thousand dollars?! Did she graduate first in her class at "look-at-me,-I'm-the smartest-and-most-awesome-person-in-the-world-University"?

A grand is nuts for a gift, unless your parents are rich oil tycoons and you have buckets of money lying around. Plus, cash is so impersonal.
 
Well it doesn't have to be grand. Was just throwing out a number since he said money wasn't a big deal.

In all seriousness, if she's already got a lappy & an Ipood, I'd say a nice TV if she's going to a respectable school. Something HD and LCD... You could go to her phone company and get her a totally sweet phone too. Iphone GO.
 
Get her one of those coasters that changes collor when your drink has been druged. You only need to put a little drop on it.

a digital camera is a good idea like somebody stated.

I leave far from my family so me and my girl will take pictures and stuff... Get one that you can record with too :P
