This message shows up when I try to boot up windower, and when I click on the original App to FFXI nothing happens. I went into the configuration like it said and it wasn't anything special.

Edit: Stupid picture, the message says "Your FFXI Registry Files are Corrupted Please verify your setting in the windower.ini

Nvm -_- it was another one of my parents vain attempts to limit my access on the PC, I'm just lucky their passwords are predictable. Sorry I Jumped the gun on this :D Just paniced, you can delete this thread.
 
My parents put a password on the family computer once, it was "PASSWORD". I literally guessed it one try thinking, "no, my father can't be that stupid." Second attempt at the password was the dog's name and I believe the third was the name of his boat. Apparently, he is.
 
One time my brother put a password on the screensaver, so we couldn't get it off. We asked him and all he said was "guess". We asked him a million things.. turns out the password was "guess"
 
This is why you:
A) buy a wireless card- you can shift to a neighbors internet
B) set your own password for your screensaver/computer login (if it's your own comp)

Yeah, it sucks when parents do that crap :/
 
Never meet a 50+ yr old know how to turn on a PC my dad is 50.... lucky me :D
 
If you never log off and instead do the switch user thing your settings that they try and change never take effect. It's will be annoying fixing your account after any restarts and when they log you off because they feel like it though.
 
My dad once set a password without telling me...It was my name ;o
 
everyone in my family have their own computer, so I've never run in to this problem <.<;

Besides, I highly doubt my parents even know how to change the settings on any computer as I'm usually the one that helps them >.>;
 
My mom set a password on the computer one time. Then when I got off for Christmas break she said "Ok I'll let you back on, but you gotta find the password yourself" D:! So she told me to look up the encyclopedia and look for Alexander the great's horse lol.

The password was Bucephalus
