help please!

omicrom is yelling at me to NOT cast paralyze and slow because his nin spells are more powerful, and he insists that DONt need to skillup my enfeeb skill as a WHM.... lol
 
Whm enfeebles having nothing to do with int. Nin enfeebles are stronger than whm and rdm's. Let him cast paralyze if he wants. You can still skill up with dia and in other parties.
 
Paralyze spell depends on efneebling skill and mind, not int.

Nin debuffs (slow/paralyze/blind) are all stronger than the white mage and black mage spell version and will overwrite debuffs casted by a mage.
 
Pretty sure it doesn't overwrite. Maybe if there is a Ni version as my ninja is only 32 but so far in my experience it gives me the message when you cast a spell that has already been cast and the spell does not take effect.

Well, I noticed that my Kurayami: Ichi would "Have no effect" on a mob if the RDM casted Blind on it already. My ninjutsu is maxed and such, so IDK where this information is comming from but it can't be foolproof.

Omicrom 75brd and 75blm, a ton of experience in the game and a very great player. Has a ton of knowledge about the game including jobs that he doesnt even level. The man is like a knowledge machine.

Elitmage 50ish or 60ish bard?, complete idiot and asshat, abandonds parties cause he feels like doing other things. A total waste of space who only gets parties cause he is a bard.

Oh btw "Elite"mage I could have swore a while back you said you were gonna stop partying with NA players and stick with JP parties when someone owned you. No matter what job you level be it whm or bard, either party with JP's or shut the hell up when you party with NA. Omi has forgotten more things about this game than you have ever known. So please step the hell away from your keyboard and shut up.

Nice big newb question for you here guys.

I thought int has to do the the potency of your spell, where as mind was your ability to repell the spell. Please clarify this for me.
 
Mnd affects your resistance rate for whm based enfeeble spells like paralyze, dia, slow and ups your dmg for whm nukes like banish and holy. Divine skill is the main factor for resistance though on whm nukes. Mnd also acts as defence against mnd based enfeebles, targets mnd vs casters mnd.


Int affects your resistance rate for blm based enfeeble spells like blind, bio, gravity and ups your dmg for blm nukes like fire and water. Elemental skill is the main factor for resistance though on blm nukes. Int also acts as defence against int based enfeebles, targets int vs casters int.
