well atleast the guy didn't succumb to the pressures of the social world of "ZOMG HAVE SEX NOW!!!" bullshit as early as most are. Too bad his ex was a fucking lying slut. Thems the kinds to give women a bad name -_- I really hope people like her (cheating and such) get AIDs and die. Though.. he loses respect points since he's succumbing to the pressure :P (and yes, I know men and women have urges that wish for us to mate but we have something called higher brain functions that can let us control such things).

To understand this fully:
  1. Grow a penis.
  2. Look at his friend.
You'd succumb too. There are functions of the male body that take precedence over these 'higher brain functions' you speak of.
