So i started playing FFXI on September 18th, when it got released in Australia....

So yesterday November 3RD, i try to log on and it tells me my account has been suspended because i owe them 5 dollars :/.... shouldnt this be taken on the 18th? and i thought it was like 12 dollars a month... whats this 5 dollars for?

Theres money on the card that's for sure, but i dont want to re enter my details just incase im getting ripped off

Same day same thing happend to my mate... we started around the same time

No matter what date you start, they will take money from you on the 1st of every month...

Yup, it's true..that's why i have a lot of friends restarting today or eysterday because they didn't want to get jacked for a full months fee for only the last week of Halloween....

Yea.... i started my game on the 26th Nov 2003... i paid 13.95 USD for both me and my bro's acct. thats like SGD 28 bucks man....

Even my mobile bills aint that high!.

You don't get charged full for a partial month. For example I started mid November, when I got my bill for December it wasn't the full rate because of the overlap from my free month for part of December. This can cause odd amounts like the $5.
