How much work? Well if you are talking about a line system it's a question of how many Osodes came before and will come after and who helped you get yours that still needs. I'd say 6 months of active participation. If you want to talk about the person who is last on the order for Osode getting theirs who was on the list while you got yours, then it will really take longer, but after 6 months I'd say you can leave the LS with Osode in ownership and nobody has hard feelings. It has happened before with members like Lucylittle and there was never a flame war over it.
 
I thought this thread was done already after wowzer gave back the osode... guess not :(

so, after all the work that delite has done, do you feel it's equal to 6 months of participation? i ask because there are a lot of things that happen behind the scenes which differ from just showing up to events and it's impossible to quantify it accurately.
if delite meets your 6 month criteria and it's already been said by proph that it is his, i don't see what else is needed to prove ownership of the osode.

It's a line system. Just imagine if you signed up in the QCDN events schedule for a Optical hat run that was supposed to start in the early day and last all week. The event includes everyone working together to not only kill hakutaku but farm the clusterand everyone pitch in together for each synth fee. Well imagine I was first in the order and after we spend a few hours getting my pop items, all shelling out gil to get someone to synth it and we go kill hakutaku, after all of that suddenly I go before other people are able to get their optical hat. As long as the optical hat stays in the hands of someone still working to get hats, until everyone gets a hat unless the hat stays in the hands of someone stlil active all that's essentially been done is people wasted time all morning long.

I try to avoid posting on the FB as much as possible, but this made my nads all fuzzy and warm. Very commendable indeed Wowzer - it's nice to see some humility and sacrifice in endgame shells amidst topics as heated as this.

Delite earn Osode. Delite use Osode. Delite quit game. Delite give Osode to Ithenas as gift. Ithenas no can use Osode. Ithenas lend Osode to Wowzer. Wowzer now say Osode his. Prophecy agree for selfish reasons. OH agree for brown nose reasons. End.
 
No it's not simple anc clear and dry because it's not like the Osode came from the damn supermarket. It was earned by the LS together and it appears that most members felt like it should stay in the LS. Ultimately it's Wowzers decision and nobody else's. Had he chosen to keep it nobody had a right to speak ill of him for it. He chose to givei t up and just the same nobody can. It was Wowzer's Osode and he can do as he please.

you're still trying to lump 2 different issues together. if delite had quit and kept the osode, would there still be bitching about it? no, there's only bitching because it was willed to ithenas and ithenas is no longer with your LS.
it's like saying if delite quit and kept the osode, fine, he earned it. but since he's giving it away to a non-LS member suddenly delite loses ownership and it become LS property.
 
Had Delite just quit LS and taken Osode with him immediately after I think it would have looked very bad to say the least. I don't think that's something he would have done and if he comments on this any further I assume he'd agree with me on that.

I felt the same way when I left, but it seems everyone I knew left since I did, and it's a bunch of new people now. Give it a couple months, and by that time you will only know about 5 people in OH, proph will drive out the rest.
