Heroes Season 2 (Possible Spoilers)

I agree with Baja the most we can do is speculate. If any of you have been watching this show since season 1 they do everything deliberatly to trick us. If it was HRG he probably knows enough about Matt and his dad's ability to know how to walk into a room without the Haitian around and do what he wants.

I have to say I am kind of glad they didn't get rid of Elle. They didn't really explore her character enough which they probably had planned but the writers strike got in the way.

It really looks like Peter is becoming better and better with his powers though.

There's nothing indicating a time line between those events. It's not like they're doing the 24 thing where everything is happening at once. It takes time to get a press conference together, more than enough time to fly from California to Texas, especially if you have a private jet. It's certainly possible for HRG to be the one who shot nathan.

youre right that Heroes doesnt have the same time line that 24 has, but the way the show has been laid out its lead me to believe that all the different scenes are occurring at the same time... it also doesnt hurt to have someone capable of getting a press conference setup in record breaking time (Matt's ability to make people do what he wants)

I was half-expecting the Elle that came out to walk out of the lab and turn into Sylar, who'dve used whats-her-face's mirage power to look like her. :P

No, it really isn't. He's not the only one who can speak a few languages and they could also have just been thinking about something completely different while they were getting ready to shoot Nathan. Or the Hatian could have been there and stopped Matt from being able to read minds, like someone already said.

You need to stop jumping to conclusions based on irrelevant facts. There's nothing to indicate that it was HRG or not, they specifically filmed it that way.

Of course, there is no substancial evidence right now to know who shot Nathan. Part of why I want the killer to be HRG is because of all the interesting story points that could come out of it. Peter's vengance or Claire's reaction. For this event to be meaningful the killer needs to be close to the HEROES and not be a new character. Who better than HRG for that? He fought their side at Kirby Plaza and saw Nathan's sacrifice. Interesting storyline next season, if they play it right...

Plus, I was happy to see Peter finally portrayed as he should: the most powerful MF in the HEROES Universe. ^^

Question... Does anyone know Nathan is even dead? iirc Claire and Adam have the same power and they brought Maya and Noah back to life with their blood. Adam gave some of his blood to Nathan to heal his burns at the hospital... Whats to stop him from coming back in the future since the gun shot wounds were to the chest and not the head from what i saw.

I think anyone can get shot in the head and be healed by Claire's and Adam's power. It is just Adam and Claire who can't be shot in the head in order to heal themselves. HRG was shot in the eye. He was still brought back.

Well as we have seen death isn't always final on this show. Who knows what will happen. Nathan very well could be back. I wonder if Peter could actually use his blood to heal people since he can use Claire's and Adam's ability to heal himself why shouldn't he be able to use his blood to heal others as well.

I thought of this also but It is not know if Peter's blood would have the same effect. It would be too easy to revive Nathan that way. Not only that but lots of people watching the news saw him take 2 to the chest. It might be to risky for them to try and revive him, but I guess they wanted everyone to know there powers so why not?

With the writer's strike I am glad they ended this way though. They did this so they have plenty to work with on Season 3.

In my opinion, it was Noah (HRG) that shot Nathan. I do believe that Peter will try (and subsequently fail) to save Nathan with his blood, though we don't know if Peter has a clue about blood saving people from already being dead. I think Adam has a good chance of getting out of his new prison, since he was able to be heard screaming from above ground, might cause an inquiry as to the source of the noise.

I want to know what all the rest of that shit in the safe was. It seemed like tons of goodies that would be interesting to know exactly what they thought needed to be kept that safe at all times. I wonder if Sylar has gained Candice's glamor ability, since he tried to take it, but was lacking his power at the time. I don't think he did, but it's possible he could remember the workings enough to do it.

List of people for Sylar to kill:
Elle: She's a bitch, and has a great offensive power for him to take in his rampage against the company.
West: Sylar needs to fly, and he has to infuriate Claire somehow.
Claire's Mom: She has no use anymore, and another good offensive ability for Sylar, though it would be more fitting for Peter to absorb it. The whole Fire vs Ice showdown and all.
And about 5 or so other new powers to keep him fresh.

Nathan asked Matt to make sure they listen to him... so .. no one was paying attention to the shooter... I assume it was HRG... His first act back in the company to get in their good graces.

Hey Jereme... so Elle, didn't get shot.. (again)

Also, I'm curious as to wether or not Sylar will get Glamour...
Hopefully next season won't be cut short.

I thought it was fitting for Sylar to get his powers back in the way they showed it..
He looked like a junkie getting his fix.

Not too bad I suppose.. wonder what it could have been like w/o the short cut.

Does ANYONE know what ability the mother of Peter and Nathan has?

Hiro shoulda put Adam a little deeper.. along with a few tons of concrete...

I didn't think they'd worry about bringing lil miss plague back to life..

heheh, random thought.. Adam escapes, and uses her to filter the world.. a little more selectively. hahaha
And what about lil miss future girlfriend now!? Peter gonna go fetch her or what?! Have Hiro do it.... he can steal himself another kiss!! !

j/k

a little disappointed they termed the season early, I wonder if they'll waste film doing the "lost episodes" for the DVD.. would be ironic.

i really hope that Peter gets Monica's power (copycat? see something done once, and becomes an instant master at it)... that would be bad ass

We don't know if they even have a power. One could assume one of the parents do, probably Angela. The company policy is "One of them, one of us", meaning someone with powers team up with someone without. Thus, one can assume that 6 people in the Original 12 have powers, while 6 don't. Currently, we only know of 3 with powers. And I assume Angela and Arthur met though being partners.

Don't know though, for all we know the "one of them, one of us" rule were created later, and there's only 3 people with powers. I'd assume Hiro's father have powers as well, due to the whole "I didn't expect you to be the one to lead on the legacy", or w/e, as well as "We have the power of gods, that does not mean we can play Gods". In that case, we have 4 with powers.

Anyway, I don't think HRG was the one that shot him. Curently, they used the same hooded man they've always used. The one first seen in the police station in Season 1 trying to kidnap Molly, the one that pushed Kaito off the roof, and now who shot Nathan. I think either;

1) They didn't decide who shot him yet, or
2) They don't have an actor to play the person that shot him yet.

Something Angela said in one episode makes me think they all have powers. "...and then we found each other and tried to save the world" or something to that extent. That alludes to them all having powers. So far she hasn't had a need to display hers, or it's more of a minor ability. Was the old black guy from the first season's power to plant that vision in Peter's head from when he passed out in the street? Was Kaito's power related in some way to how he was able to teach Hiro the way of the sword in such a short period of time? Did that recluse bitch that shot Adam and Peter have a power shown?

Yeah, Angela has alluded to all of them having powers. I *think* that the only ones actually identified were Maury Parkman (telepathy), Bob (alchemy), and Linderman (healing). Kaito's must the ability to be badass. lol I do hope that they at least release some information about this in a graphic novel if not in the show itself.

Also, I'm curious to see how they develop Monica, Maya, and Elle now. It's nice to have more female presence in the show. Elle was probably the best written in this season out of the 3. With the writer's strike they probably didn't have as much time to work with them as they planned. Maya has more room to grow now that Alejandro is dead. I bet she'll want to avenge him so she won't give up her power yet. It would be interesting to see if she can single people out later on. Also, poor Kaitlin seems to have been forgotten. I'm not crazy about her but sucks to be in limbo.

I didn't want Nikki or Nathan to die but I kind of saw it coming. I thought it was cool how Nikki acted heroically even without her powers. I did like Nikki but they messed up her story this season. Nathan wasn't used much this season other than being Peter's conscience but I didn't want him to go. I almost expected Peter to gut himself so he could try to revive him. I'm also not sure if Peter's blood would help but I was surprised that he didn't try. It will be interesting to see if Adam's blood still has some sort of effect or if it wears off.

I need more Heroes crack! ; ;

It was stated all of the founders had powers except Peter and Nathan's father...

Everyone in that picture except the above mentioned had powers

the only one that i know of that has powers is Matts dad (identical powers)

Only one person mentioned the death of Nikki? She was the best one! Not only was she incredibly strong but she was like stealth assasin too. AND she kicked the guy's ass even without her powers with the whole pistol whipping him to the ground thing.

I guess I'm suprised more people weren't upset with her dying. I thought she had room to grow now that she had finally gotten over the whole multiple personality disorder thingy.

Nikki > Peter. Climb up a tree and shoot him in the head from 100 miles away. Speaking of which I thought that was kind of stupid they added that limitation to the regeneration property of Adam and Claire.

Adam said if they could have killed me they would have done so years ago or whatever. But apparently they could have killed him? Did i miss a line where they mentioned how Adam needed to be kept alive for some other reason? Because it seems the company should have put a bullet to Adam's head a while ago.

Didn't Claire get a giant spike to the head in season one and Peter a glass shard to the head. They were both fine after the thing was removed. In other words their brain was damaged and their body still managed to recover?

I also thought it was stupid how they made the regeneration ability transferrable by blood. Basically no one, who isn't the original host of the regeneration blood, can die now. So in reference to the beginning of my post. Get your ass down to New Orleans and revive the pistol whipping badass Nikki so she can take down Sylar!

Another question. Why did Elle's bolt not take down Sylar when she hit him. I remember seeing it take down Peter with one hit and taking down Adam with one hit . . . . Maybe Sylar was wearing a jacket made out of ruber? Inconsistency or am I just being picky? Can the gun shot wound be attributed to making her power weaker?

I don't recall them saying one way or the other that Peter and Nathan's dad had powers or not.

I didn't think Elle would die Darth because she was supposed to have been added as a regular.

Don't think for one minute Nikki or Nathan are gone from the show. As was seen with HRG death can be healed quite easily and it doesn't have to be right away.

Don't forget that there are at least two people who are able to time travel. Who knows what effect any future travel might have on these events.

Yeah, I noticed that too, but with the writer's strike they had to rewrite a bunch of the season so that it wouldn't just stop with no conclusion. That would easily lead to a bunch of inconsistencies.

yeah. It was originally intended to be a full 23 episodes.

Fucking writers -.- I'd have preferred they just took a break in the middle of the season like they did with Season 1, rather then just write the season off. Wouldn't it have been much better if they just aired the rest of the season, starting when Season 3 was supposed to start?
